Premier League (midweek) Games 5/6/7 December '23

Lot of panic posting on this thread at present.

(Yes, it pisses me off — deeply — that we concede at the last moment, when our rivals score at the last moment. And pick up all the points. It's panning out like that at present. I'm just gritting my teeth and bearing it. Let's see what the result is tonight at Villa Park.)

Was never gonna happen! Six mins added and they get the winner in 90+7. The difference these days is that the people governing and arbitrating the game want an Arsenal winner whereas they can't bear the idea of a City winner. Two games running we have had the shitty end of VAR and piss poor refereeing. I've long since given up the idea of 'rough 'n smooth', 'swings 'n roundabouts'. Makes me wonder what risible episode will unfold tonight at Villa. I watched one of the kids' games the other day - six mins of added time and the ref blows up on 6mins and 3secs!
 
Same shit different year in here. Arsenal have just scrapped past Wolves & Luton and they've won the league.

We're 6pts behind with a game in hand with some comfortable fixtures coming up.

We were a nothing touch on keeper from beating the dippers and a ridiculous ref call away from possibly beating Spurs. We aren't playing as badly as people make out although I agree the defending could certainly be better. I've seen nothing yet that suggests we won't win the title.

When that scruffy **** carragher is saying on live TV to a worldwide audience that us dropping points is good for the neutrals you know what the agenda is.
Sky aren't neutral as are none of the media, look at how they changed the narrative and went after Erling instead of going to town on that bumbling bald prick hooper. The spurs v the tramps game they highlighted the ridiculous decision, and it was, but forgot Liverpool had two men sent off and klopps head went west asking for a replay but no mention of how they had all lost the plot and didn't set a good example to kids watching.

But hey ho everyone is neutral and gets the same treatment from the media don't we??

They are neutral in the sense that the RDAHMeedya, the PL, PiGMOL, the BBC, BT/TNT don't want us to get four in a row, but they'd be deliriously happy with a Dipper, Rag or Arse four in a row!

Sadly we will never get fair treatment. The narrative is that our success is due to dodgy money from the Arabs and we must be cut down to size by any means necessary. We are looked upon in the same way as the collective west views Putin and of course the UAE's relatively friendly relations with Russia fuels resentment towards us further. So in a nutshell we may be becoming both a footballing and geo-political enemy of the MSM. Personally I expect some heavy weather ahead over the next couple of years.

Thats because those Clubs are more relevant around the globe than City.. the Premier League make most money from those 3 clubs and Chelsea than any others.. the multi billion pound TV deals are sold on the backs of those clubs thats why its so important they remain successful and relevant so any chance the Premier League can give them a helping hand they will...
