Premier League(midweek)Games 8/9/10 May

They were brilliant in the Championship towards the middle of last season. They dropped off towards the end. Been very defensive in the Premier League, but I can't begrudge them that considering the resources at their disposal.

I am not suggesting they should be scoring a hatful but there is no evidence of structure, organisation or flow to their game. Either relies on a defensive mess up, or 'theowing it in the mixer'. Such managers are ten a penny, IMO.

Nah. He's the German Tony Pulis. His team is shite going forward. The defence is all about numbers and players throwing themselves around. They are shite going forward, just as they were in the Championship. Horrible team to watch. Would love to see them relegated.
to be fair , u cant Play with Huddersfield attacking Football. That would be Madness, the club has the least resources in Premier league

Brilliant from Huddersfield, work rate, desire, commitment to win every ball and throw body’s on the line. That’s what it’s all about against the big boys. Well done to them.

He can at least them give an effective out ball. It cannot be expected they play like us but they are dreadful and it isn't simply down to the quality of footballer. Thirteen teams scored more than them in the Championship in 2016/17, including Bristol and Barnsley.

Shame Huddersfield can't go down. Would prefer to see teams stay up that actually try to play football.

Nice to see Huddersfield stay up, but ffs Chelsea. You had one job. Now we need a Chelsea win and Liverpool loss on the final day for the season to end hilariously.

I find some of the comments regarding Huddersfield's style of play a tad arrogant.
Lest we forget, football is a results business.
They've done what they needed to do to maintain their Prem status which is what their priority would have been at the beginning of the season when everyone had them pencilled in to go straight back down. They were actually expected to go down to League 1 last season when they defied all odds to get promoted. At the beginning of this season they spent about £43 million iirc in preparation for this campaign because it was all they could afford. Forgive me for being old fashioned, but this is what football dreams are made of at the bottom of the pile. If that had been City in Huddersfield's place and we had just achieved what they have on their budget, I would have been ecstatic.
Well done Huddersfield.
