No we're not. It's personal preference. We are slipping into the realms of fuckwittery and football is losing its soul when people put the chumps league before the league.

If football is about tradition then why does nobody rate the FA Cup above the league title, as they did prior to the MOTD era beginning in the mid-60s?It's fuckwittery, football is about tradition not popcorn and the next new shiny thing.
Some people on here sound like rags :)

I'm not sure how many people rate the CL above the league, but if they do, that's their prerogative. Some people change - they would prefer the league most years but every now and then would prefer a CL win. My late father told me he'd love to see us win the CL once in his lifetime, having seen us win the league five times. He was at Newcastle in 1968, Wembley in 69, 70, 74 and 76, and went to every home and away game, plus final, in the two CWC seasons. He never got to see us win the CL. But I don't think he's wrong for wanting that, and I certainly don't think he's wrong because someone like you thinks they can set the terms of what is/isn't important. If you think that the chumps league is more important than the league then you have to be a rag.
Who says many people don't rate the FA cup above the chumps league? And we were talking about the league here not the FA cup.
