Premier League predictions 25/26

1. Arsenal
2. Liverpool
3. Chelsea
4. City

I will revise this prediction if we do any business in the meantime re. addressing our defensive issues.
That current defence is going to leak goals like crazy. We will hopefully be exciting to watch though - scoring a lot and conceding a lot. Great for the neutrals :(

United will finish top half unfortunately, and it will be hailed as some kind of second coming.

We will take more points off them in the derbies this year.

The results of the 115 charges will become known and certain clubs will cry about it.

Villa will drop off, as will Forest, mid table finishes for both

Chelsea will sell their own farts back to themselves and buy seven more wingers with the proceeds.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal fans will claim the league is sewn up before Christmas.

Cherki will be involved in goal of the season, either ours or the league overall.

The infamous New Trafford stadium will be no closer to reality, pushing them to make renewed calls for government handouts under the guise of 'regeneration'.

Brentford and Leeds will be in a race to be the first premier league team to sack their manager.

Hard to make any predictions about us, so much depends on how well the new lads settle in, but I predict we'll be in the title race a lot longer this time around.

Hell, I'll say it, we'll pip Liverpool to it. Football will be ruined just in time for the world cup.

I think City, Liverpool and Arsenal have all bought very well over summer and Newcastle were looking like contenders at the end of the season too.

Arsenal still need a striker in the Salah/Haaland/Isak bracket and I'm not entirely sure Gyokeres is based on him playing against us. He was strong and quick but will he end up playing against bus-parkers etc? Their midfield is going to be particularly strong though they are definitely going to be very close. Liverpool have also bought well but VVD and Salah aren't getting younger. An injury to either of them could see them drop off. My worry with City is we have brought in too many players since January and apart from Reijnders and Cherki I don't see the quality being there I'm afraid. Marmoush looks a great player but I think we're struggling to see where to play him.

I think City, Liverpool, Arsenal will finish top 3 with the final game deciding it. I think Newcastle will come short in the last couple of weeks.
I can see your point of view here. I might be being a bit more optimistic as we have a big returning factor - Rodri. Also Ait-Nuori seems to be a huge filip that will 'unleash' much more of our attacking potential as well as adding yet more hungry young legs.
Add this to the two you've highlighted, and I think this is a very good set of upgrades that will lift everyone else - in part from the excitement of having more creativity and flair up front, but also from the point of view of not having to run the same tired old legs into the ground (Bernie) - and the competition asepct as well. Plus Pep being able to field a new system will take some time to suss.

Not naive enough to think that our defensive holes will just evaporate, but I do think we have the withall to begin to strike fear again.

City
Liverpool
Chelsea
Arsenal
Newcastle
Utd....... (Howard's way)

Dippers/Tarquins/City title race but think we'll end up third.

Chelsea, Villa, Newcastle battling for top 4/5.

Brighton, Rags, Spuds for conference league.

Bournemouth, Fulham, Palace, Brentford will have fantastic seasons and end up mid-lower table as per usual.

Leeds will stay up, Sunderland and Burnley will go back down. The final relegation spot...unless something dramatic happens I can see it being West Ham but Wolves will run them close.

All depends on Rodri and how coming back from a serious injury effects him in my opinion usual top six will be similar would love City to be top .

Liv
Arse
City
Chavs

Sunderland
Leeds
Burnley
Brentford
Wham
Toffees
Wolves
All fighting for their lives to avoid the drop

I think it will finally be Arsenal's time this year.

Raya
White, Gabriel, Saliba, Timber
Zubimendi, Rice
Saka, Odegaard, Trossard
Gyokeres

Kepa
Mosquera, Kiwior, Calafiori, Lewis-Skelly
Norgaard, Merino
Nwaneri, Havertz, Madueke
Jesus

That's got lots of quality and depth in key positions.
Think Gyokeres will be a Nunez type flop and they’ll struggle for goals. Think if we are within 5 or 6 points of Liverpool in January we win it.

Title: Between Liverpool, Arsenal and City. City if Rodri gets back to his best.

Relegation: Burnley, Sunderland and Wolves.

If Rodri gets back to his best I can't see anything but us winning it

1. Dippers
2. Arsenal
3. City
4. Chelsea
5. Newcastle

18. Leeds
19. Burnley
20. Sunderland

If we sign a right back and a centre back we'll come close to winning the league, If not, it will be a struggle getting champions league football.
