Present Day Football, Fans and Any Other Stuff You Hate About It!

I've bumped this because I didn't want to start a new thread. But we are only 3 games into the new season and already im finding it a tougher watch than last seasons. I'm not just talking about our last two performances but football in general. The constant pushing and pulling at corners has crossed a line for me. It needs sorting immediatley, its boring and its just wrong and I hate it. I wouldn't bother id just take short corners and try and work the ball in. Player's faking head injuries, rolling round, screaming out loud, getting too pumped up and over the top celebrating everything, laps of honour for a league game, managers like Brightons today screaming for every foul like its a leg breaker and poxy fans of so called smaller clubs celebrating like they've just won a world cup. It does my head in. Think I need to pick up my guitar more often when we're not playing.

I completely agree. To see the Brighton manager ranting after 5 minutes, demanding an opposing player be punished for an accidental injury was so disappointing.
I would also add the greed of Uefa/Fifa/Premier League. That for me is the main one that is putting me off.

For tugging and pulling you need to go and watch lower league football, I've never seen so much of it in all my life, the wife wanted to go back watching Carlisle Utd and the standard of refs in L1 was terrible, even worse in L2 and now Carlisle are in the NL they are even shitter.

We think we are hard done by from certain refs, Carlisle get absolutely no home refs ever

All of this and
VAR
The manipulation of games by the officials
People wanting instant results no patience for a rebuild
The introduction of new guidance like the 8 seconds, allowing players in the box for GK
Players scoring great goals or any goal being disallowed for minute offside
The way that legacy fans who as far as im concerned are the bedrock of the club are treated
Half & Half scarves

Foul throws - no one gives a fuck anymore, Arsenal player nearly kicked himself up his own arse yesterday!
Cheer leader players that feel the need to rouse the crowd with every tackle or corner won - Pathetic!

Media media and more media.
Fucking hate the predictability of it.
Red shirts = positivity only
City = negativity only
The rest = no media interest whatsoever
