"Hatchet jobs" are based upon a lie/ taking things out of context and this ad is all about optics.
Pelosi sat in her multi-million dollar mansion boasting one of the most expensive ice creams on the market in her freezer whilst people are furloughed a small one-off payment, at this time.
All these things are true.
Pelosi is in love with being a powerful leader and empathy for the voter is not her strong suit.
Her appearance on late night TV is about as tone deaf as you can get.
I am not able to understand why they are so against M4ALL.You argue my point, exactly (& better!).
To know that the Dems are not pushing for or will be enacting M4A is a huge mistake. It's a surefire vote winner, but when the end result in Nov will be the same for the voter, it doesn't matter who the Pres is.
I've been saying for ages to have something to vote FOR makes more of a difference than something to vote against.
Obama-Biden passed their healthcare bill and insurance costs jumped 20% for same coverage. When you negotiate with insurance companies/ pharma/hospitals to increase coverage (pre-existing conditions among others) you end up paying more to them - and that is what happened.
Get the middlemen out and go for M4All - but no Democrats will not do that and we can all get entertained Pelosi having an ice-cream.

Well, I am hopeful that there will be regime change, at the top! I'd like to see Barbara Lee replace Pelosi as it should have happened and, yes, if Schumer was to be replaced I can see Sanders in there, instead. A successful Progressive infiltration would be a dream!
I won't hold my breathe, though.
It's only #45 that has the power to enact a temporary and restricted M4A position.
