I'm happy that Biden is President, and Trump is hopefully gone for good, just didn't think the comments re Biden's amazing sense of humour were justified.

Compared to Trump bullying journalists for the past 4 years I took it as a light hearted remark.

Boris trying to be humourous to a reporter would probably fuck it up Benny Hill style.

I'm honestly still not certain whether the Trumpy Bear is a real product or if this advert is a bit of sublime irony... sadly, it's likely the former.

Biden, for all his faults - may be the perfect president for the moment.

A moderate whose instinct is to work with Republicans if possible.

A very likeable character - who absolutely comes across as caring for Americans.

And... whose numerous foibles, reminds us that no one is perfect.

And for those who know his personal history - how very, very tragic and sad.

I think that Biden ran for President, not because he wanted political power/fame, but because he thought that he had the best chance of defeating Trump and thus, of healing America.

Biden brings to mind a quote I read from a former Republican... in so many words she said that, under Trump, the Republican party had become the party of "mean people" - whereas Biden is the embodiment of someone who cares and wishes to help.
