President Joe Biden

"USA isn’t qualified to speak to China from a position of strength"

"Many people within the U.S. actually have little confidence in its democracy"

"US has human rights problems—long history of killing of Blacks"

Well that meeting went well.

It is. The US does many things badly, appallingly and still does, but it at least has a principle of liberty at its heart that it tries to live up to, even if it fails to meet its own idealised standards.

When the previous administration tried to overthrow democratic elections and pressure the courts accordingly, it failed. When they tried to pressure officials in Georgia and Michigan to discount the democratic vote it failed. That counts for something.

No matter how imperfect, the US is better than China.

There's a new empire being built whether we like it or not.

The dragon is rising. Uncle Sam and his version of international democracy is dying.

This is the end game. There won't be a war in the old sense between these two as it's already been lost.

China virtually owns Africa with its infrastructure policy and going for Europe and UK next.

Chinese politics may well be another good thread to start.

I agree a new power is being built, with India also rising and the idea of democracy as defined by the West being eclipsed.

The West is divided on how to handle the issue, maybe there will be common ground between US and Europe on how to deal with China, but whether that will happen or even be effective is debatable.

There maybe something brewing as you say. Johnson announcing some new laws to counteract Chinese influence economically might just be the start. However I think it's too late. The west had been naval gazing whilst the Chinese have built cities and improved their people's lot in some ways whilst continuing their dark deeds in the background.

We would all do well to remember how the USA decided to deal with the last Asian superpower before jumping into bed with them.

Actually feel sorry for the bloke. I saw my grandad and grandmother fall when they were close to death. It’s horrible.

Looks like he has serious health issues and the White House are blaming the wind for blowing him over. Are they taking the piss? They must believe that democrats are fucking morons if they’d believe that.

Combined with the teleprompter and scripted interviews, he’s just being used as a puppet by the democrat party prior to his death. Horrible.

Bidens presidency was always about getting Kamala Harris as president. Expect him to step down very soon (within a year) and have her sworn in. Was always the plan.

Big fan of plans being made privy to people on the internet.

Either that or this was a GOP scare story to put people off from voting for Biden, ‘a vote for Biden is a vote for President Harris!”

Personally, I hope Biden does step down into a happy retirement and Harris takes over. I’d laugh my tits off.

Never said I was privy to it hombre.
It’s just clear as day that this was the case.
