For Prof Bigga a true progressive is equivalent as "a true scotsman", nobody can live up to his expectations and even if they do, he will find a reason to call them a sellout at some point.

But you seem to set a very high bar for Biden even though by your own admission he’s unlikely to be able to push through any sort of radical agenda. Might help, and I’m talking about the UK here if those low paid “working class” who might benefit most from say the fairly radical agenda pushed by the Labour Party at the last election actually voted to give them a mandate to carry it out.
It's probably something he has picked up from watching The Young Turks or other American political media over the years.
When I watched it and they used it (often presenters self-describing) I always saw it as an umbrella term for people who might be reformist in outlook. However, it includes people from liberals to anarchist and marxists.

What a toolish response applauded by the expected tools on here.
The one thing I respect about journo is that he was afraid to engage using civility. In which I respectfully returned.
I stopped with TYT years ago after some stuff didn't make sense. They've fallen massively from grace since then.
I'm not interested in what your opinion is of me, since you'd rather talk about me. You should do as your Foggy mate is BEGGING you to do.
Let him control the narrative of the thread so you can all circle jerk each other..
Yes. We have already established you aren't a fan of TYT anymore, but you did watch them years ago.
Stopped about 5.
Still don't see your point.
Where does your use of "Progressive" word come from?
Heard it used about Kinnock.
Not to the mainstream it's used today.
Why?
The reference to the TYT's was just because of somebody asking what it meant in the context of the thread.
As I said progessive is an imprecise term.
Still don't understand why you asked the question, then.
Seems to me you wanted to make a point and stopped dead.
It is what it is.
