Whatever people thought of Obama, he got one hell of a reception.

Whereas everyone was ignoring the president. Poor old bugger was wandering around, at one time just looking at a curtain. Worse thing none of his party went to help him out, talk to him, get him into a conversation. Obama blanked him even when Biden put his hand on his shoulder and spoke to him. Even his Vice President didn't bother with him but at least he was spared the ordeal of trying to understand her.
With friends like that....
They are just using him and the worst culprit is his missus who cares more about being called the First Lady than letting her husband get treated that way. Whole country is dodgy.

He's never going to get above 60% because around 40% of the electorate still support Trump in spite of him being the most unsuitable President that the USA have ever had, so 40% out of the remaining 60% is actually 2/3 of people that aren't either evil or stupid approving his performance as President.

Supporting Trump in 16 is different than in 20 and different still from after Jan 6. You’ll need to demonstrate how evil and/or stupid (almost all the latter) is an incorrect characterization of Trump supporters today. I’ll accept “blind and deaf” or “hopeless victims of anchoring bias” or “uneducated” if “stupid” isn’t your cup of tea. Regardless, at this point, they are flawed humans — period.

The only reasons why someone would post such are this:
1) You're a rabid right-leaning fascist - who will post anything at all, regardless of truth to advance your cause and/or;
2) You've been duped by the echo-chamber of right wing narrative. You want to believe in the right so you listen to broadcasts that state what you believe - and you fall into the trap of believing desirability over truth.

And this is the power of demagogues - desirable outcomes are preferred almost entirely regardless of truth.

Part of that unification involves both parties rallying around the president. Some republicans are openly pro Putin and support his ideals. Along with some media outlets that even RT are saying "These motherfuckers are stealing our turf" (Probably both down to the genocide as well)

There are plenty of supporters of the orange man who are uneducated and plenty of supporters of Joe who are educated but in the end it matters nought.

Joe won and Trump lost in 2020 and it all came to pass.

More importantly I have some faith in Blinken at this juncture which to me at least is a little more important than past history.

Incredible how some quickly respond to a simple statement as yours using the words retards and evil etc (LOL).

I love the ones that disagree without saying why that every thing post on a Biden thread means you are a racist.

If everyone over 18 voted in the 2020 election well over 100 million would have voted Republican and whether that means they are a fan of the orange man or not you would have to ask them.
