President Joe Biden

I’ve been saying this for months now, so I obviously agree, but I do find it a little odd that this view isn’t widespread. Biden is running the right campaign and 95% of the “advice” early on that he needs to get out, take bold stances, and generally be agressive has been wrong.

He's just following Napoleon's advice -- when your enemy is making mistakes, don't interrupt him.

Interesting times ahead.

Biden will do 3 debates with #45, apparently.

And Progressives make gain in primaries against est Dems.

They will be holding Biden's feet to the fire, should he win.
Are you concerned about the debates? I’m a little doubtful on how much they matter at all, but even that aside it’s not like Trump is any better than Biden up there. He was awful in 2016.

I hope Biden wins, cos he'll have Progressives pushing him in the direction for the people.

This is my first real want of Biden.
Yeah fair enough, I’ve just seen people talking a bunch about the potential debates and I honestly don’t think they matter that much.

Agree, I don't think they change many peoples minds. If you tune in to watch then you probably know who you are going to vote for. It is however all part of the general mood, you have to do them and they are a risk more than an opportunity. You cant win voters by winning a debate but if you balls it up then that can do damage.

The ideal scenario is a biden win to steady the ship and then a retirement after one term to make way for a more progressive candidate who is also slightly younger.

My biggest worry about biden is that he hasn't really given me a great deal of confidence in regards to his environmental policies but I'm willing to be convinced

Well the alternative thinks climate change is a hoax, has pulled out of the Paris deal and loves fossil fuel. Anything is better than that
