Well, let's say there IS going to be an amount of conspiracy theories flying around; would anybody in their collective RIGHT minds blame anyone when the US (especially) and Israeli have wished for regime change in the region?

The US are talented in getting rid of leaders that oppose them around the world and installing 'leaders' more favourable to their cause.

The question is now, what kind of politician will replace him? Sometimes it's a case of 'better the Devil you know, the one you don't'...

I'm surprised they were still using an old American helicopter considering the difficulties they would have getting replacement parts.

If this wasn't an accident, Id say the US would be quite a way down the list of suspects for it.

There's Isreal, who are renowned for heavy handed responses who in the grand scheme of things gave Iran a slap on the wrist in response to the attack.

All the groups that Iran have been arming and have in the last few months been trying to get under control. and as the US has found out time and time again. when views stop aligning with those sorts of groups, they will bite back.

Russia, While it seems odd that Russia would do this to an ally, Russia has done very well in Ukraine due to the west being distracted by Isreal. so destabilising the region is in their interests.
