Yeah, that is the case with everything really. It occurs to me that if the DoJ did not order its Marshalls to enforce a judgement, the federal courts have the power to deputise others, like the local police, to do the job. That would be fun.

China dramatically cutting their imports of US crude and turning to Canada. This makes a lot of sense for both of those countries. Canada needs to diversify away from the US, who is no longer an ally but a hostile neighbor, and China needs to do the same, from an already hostile superpower, which just went crazy.

Really starting to join the camp that this is nothing more than market turbulence and manipulation. I haven't seen any evidence yet to suggest it is influencing the global trade market, only that people are listening to this bullshit when it comes to investment.

That statement is horrendous.Apart from the implications of dictatorship, it is full of lies and obfuscations. 1. Under both Biden and Obama millions of undocumented immigrants were deported using due process and Immigration statutes. The due process required is: Notice that they will be subject to deportation and The right of audience before a court or tribunal. That is all.
2. Undocumented immigrants commit less crime per head than native born Americans. 3. García has never been charged or convicted of any offence.
I could go on but you get the point.

I genuinely despise Trump, but at the end of the day, is smart money going to pivot away from a market that's unstable and subject to political caprice now, to a market that's unstable and subject to political caprice all the time, e.g. China? I don't think so.

They already are hedging away from S&P 500 funds to EURO STOXX 600 and european bonds.

Will it be 100%?? No way.. but it'll still be considerable.

I agree, absolutely, but it's not the lies and obfuscation that mark it out IMO.

It's the rejection of due process, which means rejection of the constitution and the rule of law and thereby imposition of arbitrary tyranny.

For the moment that's certainly true. Trump has created a problem w/r/t confidence in the US market that is going to persist for the rest of his time in office. Longer term, I don't know that there's a better game in town. The EU is still the EU with all its pathologies.

Are you still as good as the day Blair left office, or are you considerably worse?

Because we're definitely not as good as we were when Biden left office and I think we might actually go back to when Obama was in office.. S&P 1800.

yeah but the money they make is only really good if they can get some element of re-balance to the economy and he is too focused on the illegal deportations, mad rallies and claiming he is a 10 stone athlete his people will make money but cripple the economy for years - and the legal system as there will be challenges under constitutional law for longer than he. I have been researching into the trade agreements over the last few weeks. The funniest high tariffs I have found are on Cacao (Chocolate/Ivory Coast) and Vanilla (Madagascar). Both of which are the enormous imports into the US and yet it is completely impossible for US to set up farming (due to climate) and industry (even if it was possible)
 
At least they know that Proj 25 is true and, that the US, and the world, can plan for America being intrinsic, falling back on white nationalists, reverting to early 1900s ideology, and allow their women to stay at home and look after the kids.

Who in the US supports this. it’d be nice to understand how this works?
