I’m not challenging you — I do completely see your perspective. It just doesn’t bother me so much.

It does speak to a larger issue in that lots of times people use pulpits to spout off on shit about which they know nothing. In a corner in the pub with a limited audience that’s one thing. On a stage is different. Or, much worse, on a forum with instant free global reach and the protection of anonymity and lack of accountability due to that.

Whether he should or not is up to him. The most interesting take is, of course, with the MAGA ‘free speech’ brigade. As with most rabid supporters of free speech, it’s only ever deemed important if it’s supporting your view, which isn’t really the concept of free of speech, I wouldn’t have thought?

The most concerning bit though is that if Bruce Springsteen giving a 15 minute speech in Manchester can wind Trump up so tight, the leaders of hostile countries will be in hysterics. Imagine what he might do, at the merest hint of a perceived slight…..
 
Another wannabe Trump candidate getting his arse handed to him. This time in Romania, where the far right former football hooligan Simion won 41% of the vote in the first round, coming out on top. But his moderate pro-EU opponent, Dan, the mayor of Bucharest has won the second round by what looks like a 10 point gap. So not even really that close.

If you're thinking, quite reasonably, "just because he's far right doesn't mean he's emulating Trump"...

He just did a speech where he said the vote was rigged, he had won, and then left the stage to the backdrop of the YMCA playing.

No, I'm not joking.

Keep pretending you're Trump and keep losing. Please.

Springsteen was only expressing his opinion normally governments ignore it but Trump decides to make a fool of himself his rant contained a veiled threat
Springsteen would do well to live in Europe.

I don’t know very much about his career only his top chart hit’s, if Trump ignored what was said only the people at the concert would have heard his outrage of the American leaders.
