In the House and Senate they have to be satisfied by calling other officials for questioning, as the president does not sit in the legislating body unlike UK.
The president would exert executive privilege, if called, which allows him to say nowt.

Part of me wants to see the US economy implode because it might provide a check to Trump’s momentum towards totalitarianism, but it will more likely be used as a catalyst towards that, and our already fragile economy would doubtless suffer as a consequence.

If he is emulating Putin he will already be raiding the tariff tax his citizens are providing.

Pretty much my thinking.
Then again i realise that the poorest and most vulnerable would the the first and hardest hit.
There are so many decent Americans who are fighting just as hard to get rid of this diseased President.

Trump knows what is coming. He knows he will never get re-elected. And not because he is barred.
The mid terms will be the first battle ground. There is absolutely no way they don't get trounced. So he is creating an armed force ready to protect him. Whatever the result, it will be dismissed as voter fraud and ignored.
They have a plan, and it is already playing out. The only hope apart from him expiring (from natural causes) beforehand is the Republicans eating themselves from within. Any sign of Trump weakening will set off a chain reaction of internal power grabs.

Something is brewing. I think we haven't seen anything yet. I feel it will be big and potentially life changing for the US and maybe the wider world. (Just hope i'm wrong)

Looks like Bell's Palsy. The latter cause - Epstein-Barr virus - is epically funny


Bell's palsy is caused by inflammation and swelling of the facial nerve, which leads to pressure and damage as it passes through a bone tunnel in the skull, though the exact cause is not fully known. The economy and the country is basically in this predicament at the moment:



We think we're fine, we can relax with whatever but what we've actually done is take our eye off the ball and instead want to text, netflix and chill.

No one's going to save us and it's prime real estate for fascists who want total control over everything. And they have the means to do it with distractions (Sports/ Netflix/ Movies/ Texting.. no one can hold their attention on the fascists long enough).

In a strange way even the stock market is like this.. it keeps going higher and higher and higher.. people that're able to invest keep putting money into index funds without really looking at what the underlying stock is.. and it's getting full of COINs/ Crypto firms/ Scammers & Liars who lie on income sheets. We've forgotten all about Enron!

I mean my insurance rates went up 25% and I've been dealing with high grocery prices. It doesn't need a left wing talk show to tell me the numbers put up by the government on the economy and inflation are complete lies.

But no one calls them out on it, instead it's all about sentiment sentiment.. Trump is great for business.. jobs are coming back to America.. great for the economy.. BUT FUCKING WHERE???

Trump Denial Syndrome is even more dangerous and real than Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The last batch of Tories showed that no matter how much Starmer fucks up all there will be will be mutterings and strong letters to the Times or the local paper - Trumps biggest issue is even those poorest and most vulnerable are like as not armed to the fucking teeth. Seen clips of TV reports featuring prominent Rep's ( who lets face it are getting humiliated and looking for an excuse ) are now saying they can't do F2F town halls any more coz they are too scared

just over a decade ago a lad I worked with's wife was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. She was embarrassed by the sagging in her face and was given an operation to fix the nerve damage. Something went wrong and she died on the operating table ............... you never know

I’m not an economist or financial expert, but even I could predict that Trumps actions would cause the US economy serious issues. I predicted the signs would start feeding through in May/june figures - I didn’t predict the mini-boom as importers rushed to buy before tariffs really kicked in , and then Trump fires the official bean counter because the figures looked bad as the tariffs took affect.

The other actions are unpredictable actions, but the results are inevitable as countries react with indignation at the abuse of their nations/nationals.
The SK financial pullout is purely down to Trump’s ICE.
Qatar’s pullout ditto.
Denmark due to the insanity of Trump’s Greenland machinations.
China… well it’s inevitable after the derogatory language and tariffs.

It’s ironic that Trump is saying he won’t sanction Russia over NATO countries still buying Russian energy, but is quite happy to sanction China when the US is reliant on them for ‘rare earths’.

He should be buried under the White house’s smallest room for visitors, with an official gold trump toilet taken in lieu of untold billions ripped from working class Americans, so they can sit, contemplate and feel relieved that they’ve made their own personal statement on it.
