Trump has been a crusade promoting a far right white supremist group in SA he claims are being "attacked" and has put on record a few times allowing them to claim asylum in the US.

Are all white South Africans part of this group?

Do all white South Africans identify as Afrikaner?

My issue is you have brought the big paint brush to the party and frankly, you have got it wrong.

You’re lucky. Mate of mine went in and the surgeon ‘slipped’ and they had to cut quite a bit out.

It's not an organised group (it the same way Antifa isn't), but the group of people in the frame are white, south African farmers, who Trump claims are facing 'genocide'. As you know, the 'white genocide' narrative is pushed hard by white supremacists, certainly in the USA.

It is Trump's policies alone that are stoking the fires of racism and white supremacy in relation to South Africa, which is unsurprising given that he has had at least one or two influential, white male, Apartheid era, South African nationals whispering in his ear in recent years. It's not by accident.
 
Many white South Africans who left the country in the 70s and early 80s were anti apartheid.
Many who left in the 90s didn't like that the government was now run by a black guy.

Those leaving now, I have no idea. After all they've lived under black rule for well over 30 years.

A friend who visited the place recently said that while the country is governed by the black majority, the whites still have the economic power.
 
I see Nigeria (Nigerian islamists) are in his sights.

Whilst not for one minute suggesting removal of Islamist extremists wouldn’t be a bad move (were it possible…hopefully they’ll all identify themselves accordingly), Nigeria is made up of 36 states (broadly aligned to historical tribes), a lot (if not most) of them historically at war with each other.

The capital is in the north, which is mostly Islamic and the oil and gas (money, corrupt money) is in the South, which is mostly Christian.

I worked there 20+ years ago and it seemed a powder keg primed for civil war then. I’m ‘happy’ to see Donald will send his US troops in there and sort it out…what’s the worst that could happen!
