I totally agree. We saw how Hitler walked through Europe and then feared Russia doing the same. Whilst America feared Communism we were safe.
With this tyrant in charge he could offer the other 2 a 3 way carve up and there is nothing we can do.
The money men in America would back him all the way.

Europe is steadily re-arming and lessening dependency on the US.
Thank goodness we have sensible leaders and not the headline grabbers you wish for.
More so under Trump than any previous president the US will shit on anyone to make a buck.

But sadly there is nothing he can do.
Trump is actively destabilising Europe (pushing for a break up if the e.u.) he hates Saddiq Khan so is looking at undermining him and backing Farage.
He will use every thing he can to undermine this country if we upset him and there is little we can do to stop him.
I'd love Starmer to demand the ICC go after Trump but that is a dangerous game to play.
Further, even if every European leader condemned him and the ICC charged him, he'd just laugh at us.
Ill have you a bet.
He'll do Greenland next. When no one stops him or fights back he go after the rest

Look at Venezuela. If he had moral intentions he'd have installed the guy who won the election.
He hasn't. Appoint that bloke and you get instability. American companies could not make the billions of pounds if there is a civil war so he keeps the same illegitimate government in place whilst he rapes it.
Why tie up military helping Venezuela, keep them free for another attack. Colombia would need boots on the ground.
He already has a huge military Base in Greenland. You land all your marines whilst they also attack and capture the government.

I meant in terms of Europe’s disposition towards the US at a political level and it terms of trade, long term.
I don't think I've had an American burger anywhere other than in the US. The ones I eat here have all local (relatively) ingredients. Only the recipe is American.
And I think Americanism in movies and TV has been partially progressive. Some has sold "the American Dream" propaganda while others have taught us great moral lessons that have changed how we might have thought about equal rights, race, sexual identity and freedoms, etc.
And meanwhile US employers have generally been great to work for - giving opportunities to many with very little "old boys club" nonesense.
The US has been a great partner to Europe imo but it has its faults. And the 2 biggest ones are that they allowed the republicans to turn into what they are now and tgey were too anticommunist since WWII. They should have focused internally to properly address poverty, racism, religion and other social challenges many years ago before trying to battle the USSR and China in proxy wars. Had they done this then the republicans might never have been corrupted into what they are today.
I know I'm over simplying hugely but sure what harm. Our individual opinions are all irrelevant anyway. We have to just cross our fingers and hope it gets better eventually. Or not much worse for our kids at least.

Cuba will be next as it's an easier target than Columbia. That Cartels won't make it easy for him.
The ultimate goal though is Greenland. If it gets to Greenland I'd be very worried about the fate of the world
If it was to be divided I'd imagine Europe would be split so that there's a US and Russia border that is similar to before the fall of the USSR.
We'd be happy in our American protection bubble as we were hack in the 80s. We'd just have to close our eyes and ears to the plight of Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, etc. Maybe even Finland.
I think the Trump ideology is to have right leaning, favourable to the US republican part, yes men in power in what they traditionally see as "white" western Europe. Add that to the Americas, parts of Africa and Australia+NewZealand and its a nice big economic block to preside over.
The funny thing imo is that they already had most of that with democrat led governments but they did it softly. I guess it all boils down to left-right. The typical right being worse cunts than the typical left. (The extremes of either being the same level of cunts obviously)

He's already rattling sabres at Colombia having just noticed that they make cocaine too. He can probably do similarly in Colombia without causing a global diplomatic breakdown.
Greenland may be a step where no-one can predict the fallout. It's probably Putin's preferred option and I'm sure the message has been passed on that Putin won't be upset.
