He is not, or never will be a politician in the conventional sense. Everything he's ever done in the name of politics has been about personal gain.
 
His moronic MAGA base on social media are banging on about it being a political witch hunt because it's not a crime to pay hush money or issue an NDA. Well, of course not morons because the crime is paying the hush money out of campaign donations and then claiming it as a tax deductable business expense. They're just too ignorant and stupid to understand what this case is all about.

The GOP's only party plank is "own the libs." He's made it so. As such, he's right on point. You're making the mistake of assuming that are could or should be other substantive elements of the GOP platform. There aren't any. Even those dressed up as "stands" on "issues" exist solely to troll Democrats.

The falsifying bit is a misdemeanour. But the collection of misdemeanours in order to win an election becomes a felony. So 34 felonies in total each with up to 4 years.

This could end up with 3 outcomes. Innocent of all, guilty of a misdemeanour but not a felony (no jail time), or guilty of the multiple felonies and then could be jail time.

I'm sure I read somewhere that 12% of new yorkers voted for trump. So odds are that 1 will slip through the net. But even if you voted trump that doesn't mean you are a hardcore MAGA.

And even if you are, how does your world view change if you sit there staring at him for 6 weeks listening to all the evidence. And of course he won't testify even though he said he would.

I have just finished listening to the Michael Wolff audiobook "Siege", Its very interesting that this contains alot of the stuff about this incident and how it played out and was seen by the likes of Bannon & Cohen,.
I shouldnt be surprised but it is so sad once again that Trump playing the martyr about how this isnt about him being a sleeze, but is an attack on America..... "but what kind of American are you?", as the trailers are currently saying.

For those unfamiliar with these types of filings and stock market actions, more often than not, this type of move is usually a sign of mounting financial distress (which anyone with a brain already knew about with what is essentially a Ponzi meme company).

This is just a game of musical chairs at this point, similar to Trumps criminal prosecutions.

Well, that's a shock. A company with basically no income, huge losses (what on, I have no idea) and an immediate intention to sell all of the majority owner's shares...
