There's really nowhere to find those savings except by devastating programs that heavily benefit low-income Trump voters, like Medicaid and food stamps. Public demonstrations of power over friendly politicians. Corruption of governance with oligarchy. Military leadership purged of independence. Independence oversight of voting systems compromised.

Watch the courts get nobbled next. Direct violence against opponents follows, and then US is what Russia currently is.

Russia has lurched from one disastrous regime to another over time. Not sure Americans are ready for the tidal wave of corruption and incompetence about to hit them.

Trump is in his honeymoon period. Ultimately, he has to do tariffs or not. Pull funding programs or not. Once these decisions are made and people start to suffer then we will see how the dynamic looks.

The cuts to government funding will hit red states hard. Mid terms start in 18 months.

The actual savings made by DOGEing will have to be shown at some point - Trump will obviously continue to quote numbers without substance.

I saw something suggesting that a lot of the claimed savings are contracts that have already been fulfilled and therefore do not having the savings claimed in reality. Just getting the info may be a problem.

Slashing USAID will actually cost the USA dearly at some point in the near future.

Given the recent Ebola outbreaks in Africa, it's only a matter of time before it makes it to these shores because the preventative safety measures usually enabled by USAID are no longer in place, and the fact that Captain Measles, RFG Jr. is currently in charge at the Department of Health and Human Services does not bode well.

Trump has said he is planning to hit goods made in the European Union with tariffs of 25%, claiming the bloc was created to "screw the United States".




Think Tusk didn't really address trump, he's a lost case anyway, but all those US citizens with a sane mind and some dignity to wake up quickly.
