Former President Donald Trump was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury on four counts related to efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, according to court documents.

Trump was charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, witness tampering, conspiracy against the rights of citizens, and obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding.



The DOJ alleges in the indictment that Trump and his co-conspirators carried out a “conspiracy to impair, obstruct, and defeat the federal government function through dishonesty, fraud, and deceit” through five schemes challenging the election results that allegedly violated federal laws against conspiracy and obstruction.

Trump claims he has ended "numerous wars" in only sixth months.
Trump says no one tells him anything, he tells them, and he alone knows what is best for America.

Trump celebrates using his office as a weapon to coerce people / institutions into acts or omissions.

Scaramucci doens't seem overly optimistic anything will happen with this Epstein files drama.

Which is depressing. Struggling to find a bit of light on any of this ending anytime soon.

I don’t understand this at all. If so they had 4 years to release any information that would be damaging. But it wouldn’t just be high up political figures what would be targeted. Why haven’t we had another scandal like Prince Andrew with any other celebrity?

I'm looking forward to what he's going to have in the Cotswolds.

I'm slightly baffled that he's going there on holiday anyway (presumably a rich mate's hotel/property?), but I can see it clogging up the whole area if they try being tourists.
