Former GOP Official Accused Of Distributing Child Sexual Abuse Images
Former Maryland Deputy Secretary of State Luis Borunda was first arrested last year after allegedly trying to meet with an investigator posting as 13-year-old girl.
According to Borunda’s recently filed federal indictment, he is also accused of producing and distributing child sexual abuse material across state lines and internationally.
In 2017, President Donald Trump quietly announced Borunda as one of the three officials he intended to appoint to investigate allegations of voter fraud in the 2016 election. Shortly after being appointed,
Borunda resigned from the commission that same year for unknown reasons.

Trump Campaign Adviser Pleads Guilty to Child Porn, Sex Trafficking.
An informal adviser to Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign who testified in the Mueller probe pleaded guilty Monday to charges of child sex trafficking and possessing child pornography.
This is not Nader’s first run-in with the law. He served six months after a 1991 guilty plea in Virginia to transporting child pornography.
Then in 2003, Nader was convicted in the Prague Municipal Court in the Czech Republic for sexually abusing boys. Facing 10 charges there, he served a year in jail in Prague before being expelled from the country.

Police cleared the
ousted chair of the Florida Republican Party of rape allegations on Friday, but said they have asked prosecutors to charge him with illegally video recording the sexual encounter he had with a female acquaintance.
Court records show that his wife, Bridget Ziegler, told detectives the three had engaged in sex once more than a year ago. Police said Bridget Ziegler backed out of the planned encounter but her husband went to the accuser’s apartment alone.
She said that on Oct. 2, she agreed to have sex with Ziegler and his wife but backed out after being told that Ziegler’s wife “couldn’t make it.”

The 63-year-old served on Trump's Evangelical Advisory Board in 2016, hosted the President's 2020 "Roundtable on Transition to Greatness" a fundraising dinner which
cost $580,600 per couple, and worked to organize Evangelicals in 2021 ahead of Trump's 2024 Presidential bid.
He was also chosen by Governor
Greg Abbott to promote the Texas 'bathroom bill' which would ban transgender people from using the bathroom that fits their gender. Morris said one of the reasons to support the bill was to prevent children from being sexually abused.

Ricci Wynne, known as the influencer Raw Ricci on social media, who was taken into custody this week and indicted on Tuesday on federal charges of producing child sex abuse material.
Wynne is also accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old, per the
San Francisco Standard, and local authorities say they’ve found evidence that Wynne has been facilitating an illegal sex work operation across multiple U.S. cities. Wynne was first arrested in November and
pleaded not guilty this week.
If Wynne looks familiar to you, that could be from any one of his six appearances on Fox News over the last few years, as recently as 2023,
per HuffPost. Wynne rose to fame as a “tough-on-crime” influencer who filmed and harassed homeless people across San Francisco. As it turns out, he was the one—not homeless people—committing crime.
Despite the right’s obsession with smearing LGBTQ people as “groomers,” not only is child sexual abuse overwhelmingly perpetrated by straight, cis men, but sometimes, it’s perpetrated by prominent conservatives.

Texas GOP official was hit with over four centuries of jail time after pleading to child sexual abuse charges.
Bo Michael Dresner was arrested in April 2019 after allegations of child molestation surfaced against him. At the time, he was serving as the precinct chair and sergeant-at-arms for the
Hays County Republican Party.
The former county official was first accused of molesting a child in 2019, prompting a further investigation.
