I know some of the stuff posted about Trump can be a bit misleading so sources are better off checked etc.
And on the 'extension' we know other presidents have added elements to the white house over the years.
So does this feel way off (and I wouldn't be surprised one bit)? As in he's 'circumnavigated' many planning laws to both demolish and construct something that may not ordinarily be considered?

Whatever happens, this will be a obvious physical reminder for many generations of this administration, unless of course it was 'de engineered'.

If ever there was any doubt about him being a narcissistic sociopath, then this should shut it down. The thought of how it looks, when the country is shutdown and people are at food banks that you would never in a million years see and he hasn’t a care in the world. The US military is not designed, nor is it manned/ disciplined enough to prevent a large scale uprising on American soil.

We're smaller than Russia and have 3.5 times the population!
