Mar A Lago will have a Lenin like room paid for by the taxes of US citizens where he's permanently lying in state whilst Donald Junior charges $50 dollars for a basic viewing and private ones for thousands of dollars to donors so the MAGA cult keep being grifted.

Of course he will, just like he did with Ivana being buried at Bedminster Golf course to get it exempted from taxes. Well, that is if the Florida tax law is the same as NY....and if it isn't I am pretty sure he will get the tax code changed.
 
Maybe this latest round of Trump's rants and raves is just what we needed.
It galvanises peoples thoughts who were not sure if appeasement was the way forward.

This starts with the military, the Police, even some Republicans.
Foreign governments are realizing this isn't going to work long term.
One thing is Trump enriching himself and others. It's another possibly going to war with allies/Nato over a land grab.
NATO keeps America safe.

As big as America is, they are not the whole world. The European/UK economy is massive. Whether Trump or the average American realises it, they NEED European/UK trade.
Where as Trump lives on two weekly cycles, Europe/UK is looking twenty years ahead. Stability is key to growth etc.

The stark reality is that he has already done more long term harm to America, than either him or Americans yet understand. Getting rid of Trump/Republicans will not stop the changes that are already under way.
The US is no longer a reliable partner. This is because Trump has shown how easy it has been for him to bring down the pillars of Law/democracy. Trust earnt over many decades has evaporated within a year.
Who is to say a new party cannot just do the same?

People who think nothing is happening to stand up to his threats will see subtle changes within European/UK policy. It won't be in Trump's face.
It will be changing of regulations. It will be new trade agreements with new partners instead of the US.
Defence contracts to the US will subside. Basically the reliance on the US for trade and defence will dwindle.
China will benefit massively from trade and new partnerships. Exactly what the US didn't want.
Canada is already actively detaching from the US. This trend will only get worse.

US Oligarchs will soon be feeling this pain. European/UK regulations will start costing them billions. Losing access to European markets will be devastating. They are already moaning, and getting Trump to step in.
But it won't work. Trump is going too far. People are planning for the future, it just doesn't include the US.

The good news is i'm seeing people from both parties starting to find their voices. They are seeing the real threat and doing something about it. I live in hope!

I suspect any public monument to him — like a grave — will be an awful tinderbox combined of both wailing cult zealots and angry folks who want to piss and shit on his tombstone.
