President Trump

Oh FFS, Starmer needs to send the RAF/SAS to get the King back tonight.

The golf lot have named Royal Lytham St Anne's as the venue for 2028 Open.
Trump had demanded his course, Turnberry, was selected. When Satsuma Head wakes up and finds out there will be hell to pay.

Trump will have Charlie locked up by ICE until the venue is switched. Couldn't they have delayed naming Lytham until the King came home?
Nobody forced the king to go.
He's made his bed let him lay in it.
As for not choosing Trumps golf course
WELL DONE hopefully the first of many pushbacks against the murdering bastard.

You and I agree on at least two things:
(i) Manchester City are wonderful.
(ii) Trump is a **** (short for dishonest, narcissistic, racist etc.)

But believing he will try all kinds of dirty tricks to stay in power doesn't convince me to think this was one of them based on what I saw with my own eyes on Saturday night. Put it this way: just because the F.A., the red cartel, BBC Sports and the rag who lives down the street all want City to be found guilty of the 115 charges doesn't mean that VAR is guaranteed to find Haaland offside when he scores the winner in the Cup Final, does it?

(shouldn't have said that, should I?)
:-)
Not sure your analogy is on point.

If you lived next door to someone who you knew was burgling the houses of people in the neighbourhood when they went away for the weekend, and you went away for the weekend and your house had been burgled wouldn’t your starting point be that they did it and work back from there?

It doesn’t mean they definitely did it, and nor could you necessarily prove it, but it would surely be a sensible and rational assumption to make, especially if you were open to the idea that someone else could possibly have done it and you were open to be so persuaded.

Yes, you're right, my analogy wasn't exact and yours makes more sense.

Briefly, I see three ways of looking at the attack.
1. Most unlikely: the guy was recruited and the attack staged for whatever purposes Trump's team had in mind; that would mean he accepted either life in prison or being killed during the attack.
2. Possibly: he's a lone wolf who took everyone by surprise on Saturday night. That surprise would still suit Trump's purposes by blaming it on the radical left.
3. more (?) possibly: he acted alone but was picked up by FBI surveillance bringing his weapons into the hotel. They then watched him, perhaps investigated him and discovered his leftist opinions, then let him make his dash for the ballroom in the knowledge that he had no chance of getting close to his targets while accepting the risk of whatever injuries he caused to others on the way. Also suits Trump's purposes.

Given that there seems to be confusion or cover-up about who fired which bullets and where they are, the third of these possibilities might be the one nearest to the truth. VAR needed here.

Is Rosler’s grandad still around to fly over Trump’s ballroom once Charlie has left?

Charles’s speech to Congress is going to be box office. You just know it’ll be full of digs at the awful orange **** and his regime of idiots and megalomaniacs but structured in such language that the thick Americans won’t be able to understand the subtext. The whole thing will go over their heads.

Makes me laugh they think this will repair any relationship, the orange twat will say anything then once he’s gone just do something different, that’s even if he remembers he’s actually visited the dementia ridden ****.

He will praise the checks and balances inherent in the US system and how it ensures that the democratic will of the people can’t be subverted without consequences.
Unspoken subtext is he will tell them to invoke the 25th or impeach.
