Eric Nixon and Paul Lake didn't show in the end.
Mr. Lake's excuse was that his house movers had turned up late but c'est la vie.
Started off with a general note saying to let all members know that there will be functions of some sort going on every 6 weeks ranging from, I think quizzes and similar activities.
Asa Hartford and Scott Thomas were on stage last night and questions were thrown at them from the crowd.
Finished off with a raffle and AOB.
Very good evening on the whole :)
Yep as Kiran says it was a bit disappointing that Lakey and Eric Nixon let the club down last
night (Nixon without even a phone call) but still a good meeting none-the-less with Asa and
Scott on good form.
So Paul Lake no longer at City & doesn't turn up....
Andrew Waldon was also there signing copies and answering questions on his new book (co-wrote with Phill Gatenby) Teenage Kicks - The Story of Manchester City's 1986 FA Youth Cup Team. Sounded pretty interesting, I know it's been mentioned on here before a few times already.
P&W is celebrating 20 years as a branch so like Kiran says they'll be holding some special nights to commemorate this over the next 12 months.
