Pretty Naff films that you actually quite like

In fact, I reckon this is where Tarrantino took his inspiration for the spoof Machete trailer which later got groundswell to be produced in its own right

Bit confused by the definition of Sideways as “naff.” Got huge positive reviews in the States and was on a lot of critics’ Ten Best lists. Oddly I was actually at an Xmas party just tonight where we were talking about it with a guy in the wine business (I’m in Nor Cal after all) and we were wondering if it was responsible for killing merlot.

The Omen is another that I recall got a lot of positive reviews.

Here’s one detested by critics that I think is very funny — Tommy Boy.

Love a good 'naff film. Con-air, Independence day, Die hard etc. But the ultimate has to be 'Sharknado' and the best ending to a film ever.

Almost to the point where I know a ton of lines off by heart. Don't know why it is such a great film to me as it's a bit ridiculous but I love it.

Including one waaaaaaaay the hell out at Pearl.

Watched Runaway Jury earlier. None of those John Grisham adaptations were that good, but it was ideal fodder in front of the telly today. Fine acting from Rachel Weisz too.

The scene where the SA blasst their way through the wall to rescue Skellen's wife from a couple of the "People's Front" activists is hilarious.
