was listening to bbc 606 and some daft woman thought that 102 quid was a fair price for barca v untd- and was laughing when Sutton said she waqs wrong-Spanish champs v english riff raff ,tell the rich woman to get real and feck off to report on F1 or golf

Football is fucking expensive, even for those who stay at home. The hardcore followers must be on their knees juggling finances to go to every match and i think it's a shit scenario. Like those buggers who got 7 years a piece, ok they earned mega bucks but the penalty to crime ratio is way way out of whack. That was 100% corporate bullshit in practice.

Sure is

Hell even paying for sky sports and BT sport is expensive

If you're minted then £102 plus getting to Spain isn't a worry if you're a football tourist like a fair few Old Trafford attendees then £102 a tickets not a problem, if on the other hand you attend the majority of your clubs fixtures and you're a working Mr average then it starts to be an issue.

Affording all the games home and away isn't an issue for me, I can't afford it so I don't do it. Fair play to those who do go to all the games lucky buggers. Watching football is still fairly cheap if you're a City fan though compared to most clubs, I have heard people argue to the contrary citing the cost of 30 beers food and travel as reasons why they think it's expensive.
I can manage to go 2 hours without food and copious amounts of booze.

Way too expensive
Was going to get tickets for me and my 2 lads for tomorrow as the re arrangement meant all 3 could go - until I found out it was going to cost 120 quid for tickets so 150 with petrol. Just too much

Was Planning on going watching Fulham vs City on Saturday, Ticket in the Putney end for Me would be 60 quid, Travel from
mine to ground 36 and then I'll drink and eat a little till the games done and then it would be one big
piss up on the way back ,and through the evening all in all around 250 day.

How you manage week in week out to pay the prices is beyond me.

Far to expensive for my blood.
