Is it odd that the email for today's ticket bunfight has Sunderland among the (marginally) conditional criteria but Spurs, Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton all fall under 'other fixtures' open to all members..?

Yes it is while Sunderland have a big following and will sell out everywhere they will go first season back .
The four teams you mentioned are big teams too and always sell out at the etihad

This is my 3rd season as a member buying tickets (my 12 year old daughter is a massive City fan but we live in West Wales and she plays on the weekend so can only make 3 or 4 games a season).

Only info I had this season is that tickets released at 10am today, I clicked on buy tickets at 9.55am and turns out theirs a queue, I'm 16k and over an hour from getting tickets and by the looks of it could of joined the queue earlier.

For future ref if anyone knows what time it's poss to join queue can you let me know. Thanks :-)

I hate these days lol. In the queue and 30k or so ahed of me. I will stay on until the bitter end lol. Getting tickets ahed of the 3 or so weeks game time helps with flights over and back.

It's completely random, I joined the queue 30 mins after you and was 27,000 and summat.

Need to go and do some work so not holding my breath, que sera and all that.

I joined at 9.55am and was 16k on the list. Do you mean 10.10?
