Youre right that it sounds defeatist. But I think if you tweak it's meaning slightly, that Norwegian steroid user, for example, could become a legacy fan who has passion and love for the club, moreso than a family from the home counties who come once for a look.

And from a directors perspective, cradle to grave fans like that who stay good or ill, buy the odd top and bring actual atmosphere are more valuable. Because without them the non-legacies don't get the experience that draws them in in the first place.

Exactly, but lets blame the tourists, or the acoustics for when we are shit vocally wise...just accept it, sometimes we are shit and other times its rocking!

I have never played a super fan/club apologist and hated the way the club has gone which was demonstrable since 1969 when those with all the full token sheets couldn't get FAC final tickets, but if they paid a fortune they could get a train and ticket deal. I have got shit on here for criticising the club for 20 years but I have always stuck up for fans over the club. Who else has been so anti the way club is run until it became popular in the last few months?

I believe the club deserves the shit kicking out of it right now and don't understand why this is an issue supporter from a engagement perspective, or why if they are fans that do are attacked?

It's pretty obvious isn't it? Maybe if your attention span allows it watch the video and come to your own conclusion about how City fans and football fans in general are being sold down the river just for profit.

I agree massively with "sometimes we are shit and other times it's rocking". Me personally, I think the atmosphere is getting worse, That includes games against the Rags and Dippers, It doesn't have that spark it once had in the past.

Myself and Daughter sit in the North Stand, We used to know nearly everyone around us and to be honest the North Stand would get behind the team and get involved with chants, That doesn't really exist anymore, Most weeks now you are surrounded by completely different people on a weekly basis. I've lost count at the amount of times a stranger has told me that "You are sitting in my seat"...

Large parts of the ground now is tourists that's bought tickets from the likes of LiveTickets or Viagogo for mad money and they aren't there to get behind the team, It's a day out and experience for them to see the likes of De Bruyne and Haaland in the flesh. I can only speak from my experience were I'm sat, There's a divide between regulars that go everywhere and tourists, Regulars are getting the hump being surrounded by "tourists" and it is killing atmosphere that's plain as day because it's worse than it's ever been.

I don't know what the solution is, What I do want is for the club to reduce ticket prices, I want to start enjoying going to games again and being able to have a laugh before kick off, I want my daughter to have what I've had going to City games and that's a family orientated club and being in good company.

I'd also like regulars to be in their seats 15/20 minutes before kick off, Stay until the final whistle goes and also don't leave for a pint on the 35th minute and come back on the 50th minute.

This post is a bit of a mess, The ticketing is a mess...It's going to do nothing other than cause conflict between supporters and that's a sad state of affairs because we should all be on the same page here and getting together as one and asking the club for answers.

Discussing an issue you obviously don't care that much about because "You're alright" makes you look selfish,small minded and in the long term gullible.

Makes you wonder how we got in this mess when we have fans willing to assume the position.
