Priced out? | Club announce that matchday tickets being reduced by up to 43% (p93)

Apart from the bigger games though there have been ticket releases about 3 weeks before games this season gone, which made it easier than the last few years and with the extension after December should be more tickets available if the extension opens up. The panic to buy in July isn’t as crucial as it was, depending which games you want tickets for.
That said wish they’d go back to loyalty point windows.
This July though I’m only planning to try and get tickets for a couple of games and then see what comes up through the year when I know the fixture times and days.
I know what you mean, but it’s a bit complicated at the moment and that’s why I’d prefer 100% one way or the other (preferably all rolling). With the mixed model you’re talking about, it also depends what the split is, and where the seats are. If it’s 10% sold in July and 90% on three weeks before (including “good” seats) then fine… but in my experience a lot of those 3 week tickets have been made up of returns, and were often individual seats not pairs, and it all gets a bit messy/dispiriting tbh.

The match day cheapest tickets based on 7 6 6 are £670. SS1 used to have about the cheapest along with other stands, but was £745 gold and £795 platinum. It will be interesting to see where the cheaper ones are, or if there are more categories with different prices for pitch side and back of SS3 like season tickets have.

This is great news and something I'd been bending the club's ear about since CM was set up in 2018. We've now got clear transparency on categories and far more sensible pricing.

Despite 4 years of me doing that, I'm certain that fan protests helped significantly in achieving this. Well done to all involved.

It’s really welcome news on pricing mate, absolutely.

No but what I also didn’t mention was it makes the cost of buying tickets much more affordable than shelling out £600 in one go for a pair of tickets for 6 games, which is what I’ve had to do on previous years (when/if I’ve been lucky enough to get through the online scrum in time!)

As such, even with the odd late cup change etc, it’s still a much more preferable system imho.

It’s probably asking too much but there’s no real reason, other than a bit of admin, why, if they’re encouraging people to buy in bulk in July, they couldn’t offer direct debit terms, similar to ST holders.

Congrats to Kevin Parker, who apparently orchestrated this all on his own without any need for the other fan groups or the protests.

Fantastic to have such a leviathan in charge. Not sure why he waited literally years until the protests started in order to exert his influence but praise be that he did.

It’s fantastic news and well done to anyone who put pressure on, we have an affordable club for everyone now, and 61000 seats to fill, and we will

Amazing news!!! Well done to all those who pushed for this, and to the club for listening even if it took some persuasion.

Bodes well for the new North Stand and having an attractively priced home end.

The silence from that puppet will be deafening, probably devastated at this news as it means all the oiks can continue to watch city

Did you have to name check Kevin Parker, Tim?

What about the fans?

I note CM didn't mention the fans in their social media announcement.

CM have been praised by the fans constantly today on BM.
I participated in the protests so I hope we helped.

I mention Kevin Parker because of the attempts to get a pile on going against him.

How many posters will apologise about the misinformation (I’m being very generous here) about the Scandanavian supporters club.

We all get things wrong from time to time and I’m certainly in that boat.

I’ve seen the “joint statement” and I saw the one about the season card price freezes.
