Priced out?

Going a long way in the Europa League is presumably a big factor in terms of the lack of Saturday games. I remember rags complaining about the same thing last season.

It’s a difficult conundrum. You want your club to be successful but there’s invariably a price to pay for it.
Yes every fan wants their side to be successful but this has now gone to the extreme of greed of the authorities and broadcasters. European matches used to be.played Tues and Weds when sides had smaller squads and less subs also when cup games could have multiple replays. You know that true supporters are being screwed by tv companies changing fixtures. If as you say we have to put up with Thursday -Sunday then why screw us over by moving the Chelsea game to Bank Holiday Monday to 3 days prior to 2nd leg of our semi final.

Because broadcasters and the PL don’t give a shit unless you are one of their pet clubs. We haven’t had a single away game this season on a Saturday at 3.00pm!
European leagues bend over backwards to help their clubs, especially in the latter stages of a competition, we go to extremes to fuck certain teams over.

Sky run the Premier League and they don't give a shit about teams in European competitions as they don't broadcast those games.

The Palace game is a perfect example of how sometimes they can get it right. Our family can watch it in the vacated Palace 3rd tier for a total of £90. That's good. Otherwise it was about £140-160 in other stands. Which we might have paid anyway for a high stakes game.

Bloody good thing too!

It means that those who cannot get away match tickets can see the game.
