We are only in the play off because the team were crap so as it's the clubs fault and not mine the tickets should be £ 30 for adults and £5 for kids

£37.50 for me, I don’t think is too bad, considering the opposition. I appreciate that’s in the cheapest seats though.
You can argue as much as you like if the prices are too cheap , too dear, or about right. But this argument that they should be cheap because it’s a game ‘we shouldn’t be playing’ is a bit silly for me.
I’ve never heard anybody argue that the price of cup replay tickets should be based on the fact we should have won the first game.

We had one in a decade and it was £15, so no one would have argued. We don't have them any more, as there are too many games, hence the annoyance at 4 extra CL games and the pricing.

Just seen someone on twitter posting a picture of their Citizen Membership Pack. Including a scarf and a couple of gifts... No issue with that, but it's quite strange that season ticket holders don't get anything anymore.
We did get that commemorative medal for the treble, but since moving to E Tickets the club did away with the nice season ticket packs they used to send out. Bit disappointing, but then we all know they don't want to encourage season ticket holders and would prefer different members turning up each week to throw money at the club shop, so I shouldn't be surprised.

These tickets should be cheaper, had we qualified we would nit have to shell out for yet another match, having already been fleeced for an extra game in this competition. Just more money making who’d have thought it.

And then thought if we give them the catering discount it will encourage future catering sales (try before you buy) and helps the club to track ‘customer’ spend by ensuring everyone is using NFCs. More accurate data on what each fan is spending is invaluable to them. Also they can probably up the price of the catering contracts next time round. They will have probably made a tidy sum by the time they look at the bottom line.

And I'm sure there's plenty of people like me where the NFC never works so can't access that £10 anyway. I highly doubt it's purely a kind gesture and there'll be some analysis behind it from the number crunchers.

Whilst £37.50 for the South Stand is, in isolation, a good price, it's not the first time there have been large differences in prices round the ground. In my opinion charging £75 for an adult and a child in the Family Stand is ridiculous. We're only a few weeks after Christmas, playing a fixture we're required to play due to a very poor performance in the group stage, at very short notice. I took my kids off the Champions League Cup Scheme at the start of the season so we had empty seats next to us for the less attractive group games. With that in mind you'd think that, long term, it cant even be that cost effective.
My nephew, curently living in Australia, bought 2 tickets on Viagogo website for Jeff Lynne and ELO at the Co Op for £1600.
He said, although it was expensive, it wasn't too much in his overall budget.
When I was growing up I had to save up money from my paper round to buy a record by ELO.
