At least the poor sods driving the van didn't get an axe in the head.

"It is understood four people who were in the prison van were due to be sentenced today over a series of robberies."

Looks like a case for the bluemoon detective agency to deduce who they are.

Proceed in earnest, do not stop for breath or evidence.
Well looking at the current trend of criminals in the Sun/Mirror/Star/Mail

It has to be and 80s TV icon Bob Carolgees, Rod Hull or that bloke from Blue peter are my front runners

For a 20 year old to be freed from a prison van he must be high up in the ranks in the criminal under world!

It is understood Ryan MacDonald, 20, from Allen Dale Walk, Salford, was sprung from the van.

He had been due to be sentenced for a series of robberies on pawn shops.

He was being taken to Manchester Crown Court where he was due to be sentenced by Judge Atherton.

McDonald was due to be sentenced alongside Jordan Jones, 19, of St John Street in Salford, Jordan Aston, 22, of Lower Seedley Road, Salford and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons."

Edit:: What Allan said :)

They were being taken from Liverpool to Manc, so could be Scouse, dont fancy their chances on the run in Salford with Scouse accents

When you think about it, its quite touching how much these naughty chaps and hoodlums do like each other. They must really enjoy each others company to do something like that.

My friends would never do that for me.
