He's had a very good last 6 weeks of the season.
However, the season is over 36 weeks and on that basis it's been a poor footballing year.
For me it's cheerio but many thanks for the past 6 years.

I think Yaya is quite a shy person when it comes to speaking and sharing what he thinks as you can see by his body language in that vid, it would be easy for a greedy agent to put words in his mouth especially because he's so loyal and may feel like he owes his agent a lot having been with him so long. I don't think Yaya has the same personality as Zaba to make a 5 minute long speech like Zaba treated us too in centre of the pitch, we're not going to see that from him however he does deserve far more love than he gets from the fans and a little bit more effort to understand him, all our players have different personalities they can't all be Zaba.

Thats a baffling statement.
We were falling apart before he came in and helped steady the ship. Alright we've never quite been perfect for an extended period this season but we've been a better team with him in it.

Well I hope some of the vile pieces of shit on here are embarrassed to fuck. Minority though they are, they are arse holes to the extreme. The vile abuse Pellers got and Yaya got - amongst others - was an utter disgrace. I'd love Yaya to stay on for another year. Some fickle thick bastards believe everything they read in the sun, especially about Yaya, who together with Vinny, Sergio and Merlin changed the whole direction that this great club has gone on.
Surely in the interest of fairness that can be said to work the other way around, many people here are taking what yaya has said as fact but he'd have hardly gone to a meeting with a bunch of fans and gone "screw you guys I'm not being paid enough I'm off" even if that was the case. Surely it can be said he's just playing to his audience?
