Long time reader first time poster :).
I had this trouble too, I used to have another City account but couldn't remember the details, so set up a new one.. & created a new "friends & family" would allow me to select a seat for the second account but not mine..
Anyway, called up, 5 minutes later tickets in the post!
So - confusion about the points thing?
Hopefully this isn't causing problems for blues getting tickets, really want a full stadium!
Can't wait, I live down south & haven't managed to travel back to Manchester for a year for a game now, but figured this game definitely is worth 2 days off work + the trip!
