Protest against Sheikh Mansour on Weds 14 January 2026 at Etihad Stadium

I’m in no way defending what is happening ins Sudan or the UAE part in it.

I’ve just seen the president of the CSW is Jonathan Aitken. Have a read of the Libel, arrest and prison section of his wikipedia page and tell me you would be happy to be aligned to him.

What a confusing bloke, born in Dublin, Tory and UKIP MP and Godfather to Diane Abbotts' Son

So it’s Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood that are behind the campaign against the UAE and HH Sheikh Mansour, and none of the accusations have been proven.
That Christian Solidarity Worldwide is now set to protest against the UAE’s alleged support for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in their fight against the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) is, considering that it was the Sudanese Armed Forces who murdered millions of Christians in Southern Sudan between 1980 and 2005, somewhat ironic

Im going to be really let down if the PL cant find a few more charges against us for this.

Are they also going to protest outside the emirates or the fa headquarters as well, or protest at the bernebeu or anywhere else with links to the UAE ?

If it's actually a protest against the UAE, then anything related to the state should get the same treatment, but I expect it will be just Manchester City.

Which weapons does the RSF use that are UK made?

All I see are reports of Militec's popup training targets which the UK exports for training purposes to the UAE and a dual use engine (civilian/military) from a UK subsidiary of a US company (Cummins) that the UAE uses in their UAE produced APCs. Neither of which are UK weapons.

I note the media are very misleading when referring to the Militec's training targets as "Small-arms targeting systems/devices", obviously inferring these are used to target in combat, not that its a fancy moving pop up target with no combat role. Militec doesnt produce anything besides these moving target training systems.

Did you read this? Its speaking about what I said in my post, the "UK military equipment" are some popup training targets and a dual-use diesel engine used for civilian and military vehicles which UAE uses in their APCs. There is no evidence of UK weapons being used by RSF.

Why don't they go protest outside the UAE embassy or something??

Sounds totally manufactured outrage by someone to talk shite on TV..

Like Ian Darke saying, "Here we are the Etihad where you can still hear the protesters outside over the fans"

Anything to slime City!

Well they'll definitely be heard over the fans that day as there's no match scheduled.....although it's possible we could have a League Cup semi-final 1st leg to play on that same date, in which case it could get quite interesting if the protest is planned for teatime/early evening!

Getting their protesting/rioting tickets from viagogo? -:)

This is madness. Always play a political stunt instead of doing real work to make change.

Nah let’s just pick the high profile target, mansour.

Same bullshit different day.

Real work to make change?, as a citizen of the UK are you expecting some sort of Rambo rampage in Sudan or more a stern letter to your local MP who fucks given could not be any less.
Protests have been going on forever in this world. Its a perfectly acceptable way of showing ones unhappiness with a situation.

Im wondering if the protest is the problem or its location and who its aimed at.
