Protest v Wolves

You mean now, or before the protest?

I mean before and now, the one thing our club are is intelligent it's their business if they didn't know about it they should.

What gave it away for me was the Spaniards at Liverpool and what compounded it was the amount of tourists cheering for the scousers in the home end this year.

If they didn't have an inkling that the local and legacy fans were being fucked over they don't care enough to notice IMHO.

Genuine question.

Do you think that the club hierarchy have a longterm vision for neutral zones in 80% of the stadium?

I honestly can't think of the motivation of the 'in person' changes other than to lever out the old guard and replace with transient day trippers.

The club make no attempt to stop sales to away fans in the home end.

They're not interested in filling empty seats (total red herring given the day ticket prices for the last 3 games).

Massive reluctance to sell new season tickets.....

All adds up to wanting a sterile audience with deep pockets.

My lad is off to university in September, and obviously doesn’t want to give up his ticket. Whether or not he’ll be able to make it back ten times a season on a student budget remains to be seen. This stinks from the club. They’re deliberately trying to oust out more and more season ticket holders.

Don’t worry, they’ll have a rude awakening when that new north stand expansion opens. They’ll have no choice but to reevaluate.

This is what the directors want.

Cardboard cut out City fans.

Not a chance, trouble will ensue and the cops or FA won’t have that.?

I just read a post from big steve that 97% of flexi gold holders wanted a season ticket.

My question is what percentage of games have the flexi gold holders attended this season.
No point in giving them a season ticket if they only turn up to 12 games a year.

The executives.

I have said it before. Before the first protest I doubt Khaldoon or Mansour had any idea fans were unhappy with ticketing. They are pretty busy with other stuff, it's not their job and Soriano will be plying them with survey results and other management consultant nonsense that shows a rosy picture. That is why the protest was so effective, because it will have been noticed. It doesn't matter what message the press got, it only matters that it was visible and referenced by the media/press.

And that is why protests need to be continued. When Soriano tells them agreement has been reached to freeze prices, it's important Khaldoon and Mansour get the message that fans still aren't satisfied with a minimum gesture. There are other issues.

Soriano and his fellow executives are the enemy here, not Khaldoon and Mansour, imho.
Khaldoon and Mansour are ruthless and dictate the club's strategy. Time to remove the scales from our eyes! City is a small part of their strategy in embedding themselves in the world economy.

Possibly, but I am willing to hold onto my view (hope?) that Khaldoon and Mansour are men of their word a little while longer.

From 1894, MCFC Foodbank and TUB after surveying fans again and seeing what they want to happen next. They ant pressure to remain ont he club.

Season ticket and match prize freezes the bare minimum, many issues remain unresolved.

Having spoken to members of Citymatters and with their meeting with the club on 1st May (day before Wolves) in mind we announce the following action :

villa - peaceful demo outside colin bell stand 7pm, leaflets to fans and reps from all groups on hand to discuss with fans and take feedback
(also at this game alex and brian from citymatters reps will be taking your views on this in the club shop from 6.15/6.30)

wolves - 6 min concourse protest to highlight 6 years without any new full season cards being released should the club not announce any new ones. if you take your seat as normal we ask you to remain silent.

both protests can be rescinded in the event of good news from the club, right up until kick off time on 2nd may.
Well done the City matter reps making themselves available for each to face dialogue with the fans. It's appreciated. CTID

Fair play to those United fans who have sat in those seats for decades and are being moved out to make way for a new hospitality section.

Look at Omar Berrada, Jason Wilcox, David Gill, etc, the shit houses. They can't look at the United fans. Turning away and pulling their faces. Millionaires who don't give a fuck about the fans and the loyalty they have shown United for decades. (replicate that at other PL clubs)

This type of shit has happened to city fans down the years and it’s just been “it is what it is attitude” and I’m sure it’s happened at most clubs it’s good to see fans starting to o fight back

Just shows just how much rich people care about what normal people think, saying that I hope the rags go out of business and never come back because in their case I support the Glazers and scruffy Jim.

When are these protesters going to mention the failed PSR and the PL's and the rags accounting skullduggery?

Personally I’ve only missed Feyenord at home, and that was due to a mix up over who was looking after the kids. There’s plenty of normal ST holders who don’t turn up, us flexi gold folks seem an easy target.

Won't you be one of those able to convert yours to a season ticket next season then?

That's more than many normal ST holders.

No reason why Flexi-Gold ST holders should be held to a higher, £150 more expensive, standard in order to get a season ticket.

What should annoy people is that clubs are tracking fans and collating data, the club sells tickets to anyone they want to and if you can't go to a match you should be able to not do too.

Now we have got blue blood season ticket holders looking down on flexi gold holders, clubs have done a real number on what was the rank and file of what was a working man's game.
