I'm assuming that persons on your f&f will still require a supporter number in order for you to transfer tickets to them, but the number of people you may transfer tickets to who do not have a paid-up match day membership will be limited to three, rather than the present unlimited amount. It appears to be a policy aimed at reducing the number of people buying on face value websites.

My point exactly whilst this doesn’t apply to me means exchange on here and other avenues are more restrictive unless a membership is paid. Forcing more to buy memberships agree or not it’s technically another money grab and if match day pricing stays similar will be in detriment to those already facing hard times as it will restrict ticket flows, obviously none of this applies if your an agency.

Unless I've read it wrong they've expanded the list of people you can transfer to, to include 3 people without memberships as well as anyone on your Friends & Family list. WTF are you complaining about?

on the whole it’s a win but my point is you can see the next avenue city are going to explore…

To me it feels like a loss.

The increase in ST holders having to attend 10 games themselves + exchange/transfer an extra 6 minimum COULD make sense if every game was sold out.

The ticket prices are so high we can’t sell out, so, why does it matter if a seasoncard holder doesn’t show up to a game that has tickets freely available? Why punish the core fanbase?

- some FG members will be offered full seasoncard

The bad points:

- more restrictions on transfers to friends and family.

- higher number of games attended to keep season card

- no new season cards on offer (other than a small number to FG fans)

- no movement on 9 resellers/tout sites

One of our season tickets belongs to my daughter who is currently in Vancouver studying. Her seat this season has largely been transferred to one of my cousins, occasionally put on the exchange. Never empty.

Don’t transfer it and just meet your cousin and scan them in with your daughters ticket

Thanks, and I agree there is probably (definitely!) a workaround.

But why should we have to piss around? I’ve paid for her ticket, and hope that she continues to watch City for decades to come. So long as that seat is being filled for the next year or so whilst she is abroad should be the main consideration. The club clearly don’t care who is buying the tickets. Maybe if I offer to transfer it to a Madrid fan with hair clippers……

Thats not true, most games sell out in the summer. Returns don’t alway sell out,depending on the game and when it’s moved to but they as good as sell out most games.
Last season there were quite a few games I was hoping for SC returns to go on the exchange but for many games they didn’t.This season has been better.
Very frustrating when they don’t get returned to the exchange then watching on telly seeing empty seats. I think the 10 games + exchange 6 is more than reasonable.

To play devils advocate, I can understand why the club would think that somebody living abroad and not intending to attend any games, isn’t the sort of person they think should be a season ticket holder.

so many rules and regulations to attending matches, cup schemes, platinum, can't do this, can do that, fixtures all over the place, oh for simpler times, it's all about making the next pound, while paying players 500k a week, getting to be one big grind. I am sure the owners think we have thousands chomping at the bit to get in, guess what, we don't apart from a handful of games. They seem to think freezing season tickets is some kind of concession on their part, forgetting they have increased them for 10 years on the trot.

To play devils advocate, I can understand why the club would think that somebody living abroad and not intending to attend any games, isn’t the sort of person they think should be a season ticket holder.

If you give one up for any reason, there should be a clear pathway to regaining one. As things are, no one wants to give one up since they will never get it back. Alternatively, people could be permitted to take a 12-month sabbatical.
