Protest v Wolves

Couple of my mates with season tickets don't go anymore and just transfer the ticket each game to another couple of people who pay for their season ticket in advance.

Does the new rules mean they can't do this now or is there a way round it?

Regarding the 10 game minimum rule.

What happens if you have a serious illness and are being treated in hospital or at home? What if the only thing you've got to look forward to after treatment is getting back to the ground?

But you now can’t because you’ve missed 10 games and your season ticket has been taken off you.

What happens if you have broke your leg or have had a knee replacement and miss a chunk of the season?

What happens to our female supporters who give birth during the season or god forbid have any complications post birth?

What about anyone who is suffering from mental health or ainxety and is struggling?

It absolutely stinks!!!

I never got mine sent back I’d get an email before KO saying it wasn’t sold but my pass on the parent update and I was under the conclusion that it wasn’t a no show from me. But now they are saying they’ll send the ticket back so if it’s sent back and I can’t go is it now down as a no show

Ps have you a list of the 12 teams that are instantly sold
Have a look at your emails when it hasn't sold. It will say your season ticket remains active.

The 12 games are Arsenal, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Palace, Everton, Fulham, Liverpool, utd, Newcastle, Spurs, WHU and Wolves.

I remember reading some United fan saying on twitter so it must be true.

That United said he passed his ticket on and he was adamant he went himself so they asked what clothing he was wearing like something out of CSI

Cameras at new turnstiles already coming next season, they just haven’t announced them yet. Not facial recognition yet, but your picture will be taken at the point of scan and kept as a record for who scanned what ticket so later if they need to use it to ban someone they have their proofs.

They’re not stupid. They are sly and conniving.

They will have the data of how they have got to that number and there may be 2500 of them who would not meet the threshold this year. Do the same again next year and that’s a further 2500 season tickets converted to match tickets where they can sell them for £71 instead of £30.

There is no reasons to introduce it other than greed and control.

There aren’t thousands of seats empty at each game and if there are it’s because of the match pricing, not because loyal season tickets holders - who were pumping money in long before these Microsoft excel profit and loss fuckers even step foot in the place - can’t be bothered turning up.

They have fixed something that is not broken all in the name of greed, greed, greed.

I hope the club and elite game eats itself I really do.

Why would any season ticket holder have an issue with being asked to attend 10 games. If someone doesn't go to 10 games (unless they have a valid unforeseen reason) then they shouldn't have a season ticket and a flexi-gold would work perfect and save them money.
I suppose it’s because things in life change. As an example I fully expected to attend the last couple of matches of the season. However Wolves got moved to Friday night, Villa to Tuesday and potentially Bournemouth to be moved as its cup final day.

I can live with the 100 quid in petrol/tolls/time but cannot afford taking up to 5 days holiday. That is 3 matches right there many won’t be able to attend due to rearranged fixtures.

No season ticket holder would want to move to a flexi ticket for reasons already listed on here or move to a membership due to the exorbitant prices.

If that was entirely true, why did they introduce Flexi gold last season. Allow some of them to become regular SC for next season and also allow more flexi golds for next season ?

It’s going to be another self-created PR disaster. Once they start removing season tickets from blues who have been ill, struggling with mental health the negative publicity will well
and truly show the club up.

It’s a stealth tactic to remove more season tickets for further financial gain. Of course like politicians do, they will tell you it is for the club/your benefit.

They will know that there is only a small % of flexi golds who meet that threshold as well.

Why is one 10 games and the other 16?

They might lose 100 flexi gold tickets to season tickets but they may gain 2500 season tickets to individual match tickets.

They will have done their sums from the data collected and realised the best way to fuck the fans over whilst putting out some nice PR to hide it.

Not adhering to the 10 game rule doesn’t automatically mean that you won’t be allowed to renew. It means that you don’t automatically have the right to do so.

Some people might not have as much confidence in the club. But I’d be amazed if someone explained that they missed a significant number of games through a serious illness and the club weren’t sympathetic to that and allowed them to renew.

I wouldn’t trust the club as far as I could throw them. There’s constantly bad stories on how fans are getting treated by stewards and the club just bans them and won’t listen

When will City Matters just grow some and resign en-mass?

All the bollox talk about warm words and improving relations whilst the club plot in the background to disenfranchise the elderly, disabled and female supporters who'll be disproportionately hammered for not being able to attend 10 games in person.

I don't buy that City haven't thought this through with a core aim of churning yet more legacy fans out of their seats, in favour of the clear plastic bag club shop brigade.

Step up. Resign.

What is the benefit though of introducing it? And why introduce it if you’re not going to enforce it?

They contradict themselves at the beginning by saying the 14 game game utilisation has worked this season.

And it has worked, my seat this year has been occupied for every game. The club have benefitted by earning more money from my seat when selling on the ticket exchange.

They aren’t introducing it to improve things. They are introducing it to make it harder for season ticket holders - who they despise - to continue being season ticket holders.

They don’t want 37,000 long standing fans playing £30 for a ticket against Liverpool or United, they want 37,000 people paying £71 like individuals have to pay next week v Villa plus the extra £100 in the concession stands and club shop.

It’s sly, sneaky and a massive FU to the fans once again. Everything that this club has become.

Lol why can’t a female support not go
