Protest v Wolves

If the protest was about pricing, I'd still get behind it. But it's not. It's 6 minutes to signify season tickets not being released for 6 years. And they now have been. So why continue to protest?
@TheGhost has just answered you very well but in any case I'll reiterate what he said and that the 6 minutes is symbolic. Anyone who has been even loosely following this will know that the protest is about a lot more than that. It's a multitude of things.

For a start I’d hope the 4000 mentioned in dispatches by the club are full season tickets, and if all 4000 are for the new extension then they should be priced as the South Stand. Visitor ticket numbers stay as they are and are capped at £30.
They don't mention 4,000 at all, they say the majority of the new GA seats will be which may be 50% (around 4,000) or could be 7,500 for all anyone on here knows. The new STs will probably (or not) be flexi gold which can be changed to a full ST the season after. I can't see the issue with that myself. These new STs can be anywhere in the stadium, not purely in the new stand.

"Visitor ticket numbers"? You mean away fans? That's already set in stone is it not?

Regarding your last paragraph, yes it is, but I was replying to a poster who was questioning whether numbers and prices would change for the away fans.

No - we're wanting to continue the protest because there are still some outstanding issues. The point @jrb was making was that surely nobody believes this "It was always our intention....." guff coming out of the club. That's a completely separate point to continuing the protest

What announcement by anyone ever made a year in advance hasn't been vague?
They won't even know how many seats there are in the new stand until they are installed and some poor sod gets the job of counting them but you want an exact number of tickets and which seat they will be in.
Why was the statement about additional season tickets hidden all the way down in paragraph 9 (NINE) of the news release?

They will have the exact number of seats they expect to be able to sell in the new stand.

Why not offer them as normal season tickets? They’ve had about 5 years to plan this and they’re thrown out a hastily conceived plan that they must have still been working out at 10pm last night all because there was the looming threat of tonight’s protests.

Can’t you see the power being exercised by the fans including you? Why would you want to stand down now? We should be applying even more pressure to the club to resolve the rest of the issues highlighted in the protest.

Who’s calling anyone a scab for taking a Flexi Gold? Or have you just made that up?
Read it on social media, a lady said she was feeling marginalised & there was a few comments (I never said anyone called anyone)

Middle English: from Old French couard, based on Latin cauda ‘tail’, possibly with reference to a frightened animal with its tail between its legs, reflected in coward (sense 2 of the adjective) (early 16th century)....

That's not me nor the vast majority of blues who will be in there for kick off.

Your protesting over nothing now. The threat of protests has had an effect.
Now it's not about the original aim. It's purely to be a concourse cock.
Crack on though. You be you. :-)

Yes I’ve read the statement. It doesn’t specifically say 4,000 new season tickets. Please quote that exact phrase please..Predominantly GA seating could be half season tickets, half flexi gold tickets.

It also doesn’t say if those season tickets in the north stand will be mainly from relocations or not.
No, the 4,000 has been bounced about on here although now you mention it they don't talk about the new seats only. There's around 8,000 new seats but there's going to be 9,518 in the 2nd tier so a majority could mean anything from 4,001 to 9,517.

Does it matter if they're half full STs and half flexi gold or even all flexi gold? People will be able to relocate before any new tickets are issued and if the North stand is then full then I've no doubt they'll be able to pick a seat elsewhere.

The concern I have got about the protests is they are getting more middle glass, now a lot of core progress has been made. For example, let's march because Rupert has to keep his season card for 3 or 4 years while he's away at University, 70 minutes on a train, and he can't possibly return for games. Likewise, Liv is going to live abroad for 5 years and it's absolutely essential she has a full season card.

I may well join the protest but I will concur with the fellow poster who said flexi-golders have come under undue pressure to say they are crap. Plenty of people have said they are decent but they would prefer a season card. That's fine by me.

I've clarified this with City Matters.

They will be additional season tickets, not just for relocations. Initially they'll be offered to anyone relocating as FG but, if used for the requisite number of games, will convert to a standard ST.
