Protestor climbs ON TO tall clock like structure in that there London, that's not called Big Ben as Big Ben's a bell

Big Ben is the bell in the tower. The tower is called Elizabeth Tower.

He’s climbed Elizabeth Tower, not Big Ben.
Delving back into my memory,I think Big Ben was a heavy weight boxer from Victorian times.
But I may be wrong though.

Edit.
Benjamin Caunt was the name of the bare knuckle and Marquis of Queensbury rules heavyweight boxer.

Why did we need to know?

Im assuming the coppers arrested the fucker as soon as he got down. Are we to be informed of EVERY arrest in the country? Thought not.

Attention seeking prick got what he wanted.....maximum exposure, as it was lead item on BBC Breakfast, this morning.

Rinse and repeat for Just Stop Oil, too

This is the dichotomy though. Steve Bray campaigned against Brexit, mostly peacefully (he made some noise) but didn’t require any emergency services, shouted at quite a few MP’s and often got into camera shots during interviews, but he was never a story on the news. Palestinian supporters close large parts of central London, farmers drive their tractors through London, JSO close motorways, every one of them disrupting everyday life, first story on the news.
The message is quite clear from the media. Protest peacefully and we’re not interested. Make an absolute song and dance, bugger up some infrastructure and piss a few people off, you’ll be first on the news.

He climbed on to the tower. Edmund Hillary must be turning in his grave.

This bloke did protest peacefully.
How was it a violent protest, he hurt no one.
Our protest against Swales was more violent than this chap.

Is it because he supports the Palestinian people you are objecting to but won't say it.

I watched a few of his posts on Instagram and he does support palastine as well as having a good few other gripes about the usual other stuff.
Empty vessels makes the most noise

I’m not objecting to it in the slightest. I was just making the point that protesting and taking emergency services from the front line, gets you noticed, whilst not doing that, tends not to.
How you have taken that to then imply I’m some sort of racist is a leap Evil Kineval wouldn’t have attempted.
