Fuck me mate are you taking the piss here, yes you guessed we'd go out to Liverpool a few on here were worried about the draw as well. But I wouldn't be over the moon and slagging the team off or other fans cos wayhey I'm right.

Again not over the moon, the people who abused me are quiet again I see though like last week. I wish I was wrong on it, I wish I was wrong on Saturday when I seen our line up we wouldn’t win but sadly because I’m not deluded I can look past any city bias and see what’s happening

Unadulterated bullshit. You couldn't wait to post "See? I was right!"

Congratulations. You've found a way to never lose. Win, and you're the biggest City fan on earth. Lose, and it's "I told you so."

It was hardly the call of the century was it. There was always the possibility that we’d go out. I won’t be having a go at blues who gave us a chance though. It’s not like this team haven’t given us reason to believe we could win the tie over two legs. Unfortunately 30 mins of the first leg has fucked us but that’s football.
The OP made a post which is hard to disagree with the sentiment. The last week has clouded many peoples views and some are bouncing around the forum blowing of steam which is their right but fuck me, it gets a bit tedious.

It’s the fact of the anti climax to it all, we could have won against united, we didn’t. We had a great chance to go through against a team I kept being told is miles behind us, but we didn’t. We will win the league, it will be joyous when we do but to go from what could have been an incredible season, one of the best chances of an incredible season and it will kind of fizzle out. Not saying winning the league is fizzling out but you know what I mean. This team shouldn’t go out of a cup to Wigan and certainly shouldn’t be eliminated from another 5-1 on aggregate to a team everyone claimed was miles behind us. Frustrating to say the least.

Everyone didn't claim they're miles behind us,they are fucking miles behind us in fact so far behind they can't catch us will 6 games to play.we lost in a cup competition it happens.

Champions League is one of the main targets of the season. Getting thumped 3-0 at Anfield was a huge blow and it took the shine off the season for me. We were on course for something remarkable and we've fallen at one of the last hurdles, but it's still been an amazing season, and I think because of the disappointments the hunger will still be there next season. We can use these experiences to our advantage next season.

We should be top seeds next season too. Hopefully we get a good draw and Utd get a group of death. About time they had a tough draw. City winning the league next season and a CL exit will finish Mourinho off next season.

It's a cup competition. This time tomorrow, we could realistically be looking at a semi-final lineup between the 4th team in the Premier League, the 4th team in Serie A, the 4th team in La Liga, and the 7th team in La Liga. That's the nature of cup competitions. Bad luck, dodgy decisions, or simply a team that happens to have the perfect combination of players and tactics to attack your weaknesses can knock you out, even when they're not as good overall. That's why the winner of the CL more often than not doesn't win their own domestic league in the same season, and why you get situations like Greece winning the European Championship. Let's be honest, we're basically out because we were terrible for 30 minutes of one game. Everything else comes from us trying to make up for that. We lost today because we were forced to chase the game against a very good counter-attacking team.
