Proud

If anything I actually feel sorry for the players that their excellence this season isn't going to be fully recognised by the wider public. And it could now be the end of the road for some of them here. Their efforts this year have deserves more than how things have panned out over this week.

For us fans, I am entirely convinced all that has happened tonight is our enevitable champions league triumph has been postponed for another season.

Well said. Some right spineless ****s following us these days. Can't wait for Spurs Saturday, it's gonna be a great weekend.
Spineless? Isn’t conceding 8 in 3 games spineless? Isn’t giving up a two goal lead against our biggest rivals at home when playing for the title spineless. Get real mate we are fully justified as fans to be pissed off after the performances last 3 games. Can anyone tell me why fernandiho played CB tonight second half?

There’s always one.

Again . . . as a Yank who fell head over heels in love with City when Keegan was managing . . . I never expected nor even cared what we might accomplish. It was (1) the city of Manchester, my second home, and (2) the best, funniest, most self-deprecating fans on the planet that sucked me in and have never let go.

Last I looked, those two aspects are still EVERYTHING to this club and always will be. Onwards to another title I never expected.

And thank you to all of you who have made me feel so welcome whenever I have a chance to visit.

Perhaps it's the 7 cocktails in me, but I love this club and always will. The only person I will ever feel bad for given my City obsession is my wife of 26 years. As I sit in Miami on yet another endless series of business trips after another two hours in a bar full of pretend scouse, I can't help but think how lucky I am.

CTID. Very, very proud.

Yep it's ace. Mad week but to quote a spud - it's a funny old game.

Same. Cheers for that thread, I was fearing to log in here, but secretly hoping for a thread title like that. :)

We were immense in the first half and when you accumulate all those offside calls, well, a tad unlucky I'd say...

I am certainly not complaining. Never in my dreams did I ever think we would be seeing this sort of football at our club.
This is a brilliant team indeed.
Most of the ingredients are there now.
If we just got something from officials things would have been different in the last week but it would be foolish to think we are the finished article.
Disappointment cannot overcome the fact that this will be a great team in years to come...just needs a few tweaks.

There’s always one.
Not wrong though mate. 3 big games in a week. Lost em all and 2 from winning positions at home. For me that’s tarnished season. League at least should be won now we go to spurs sapped of confidence. Yeah we’ve played well this year, magnificent at times even but this week we’ve bottled it.

Fuck off, we've had worse weeks than this supporting City, some ****s can't handle losing. We'll win the league, we've already won a cup to add to that. We've lost against United and Liverpool not west Bromwich and fucking west ham.

To add to my post, we’ve been hugely unlucky in the past week. Salah offside goal at anfield, Jesus disallowed goal at Anfield, Sane goal tonight, Our missed chances against United, the handball from Young, the leg break from young. No excuse, because we was piss poor in the first half at Anfield and we fucked up the chance of a life time against United. Just them small things could have made all the difference.
