I got Nord the other week in an xmas deal. just over £23 for a full year. Can be used on multiple devices and also you can do it through the router if your are a geek or TCIB helps lol.

I got it for netflix but they have cranked down and i cant watch the yank version which is a bummer.
Did you have to buy a specific router to do this or can you do it with a generic router?
I've been using nord on my devices since @Damocles recommended it on this thread a few months ago and I have often thought it'd be easier to do it at the router to cover everything at once. Sadly I'm not a geek so I haven't figured it out yet.

Only problem with running it through your router is not being able to quickly switch servers should you need too. To access different Netflix for example (though usually you just need to get on the US one). I mean it's hardly a massive task but does require a router reboot iirc.

For how much they cost, considering many of us already pay for Netflix, Spotify, and the internet connection itself, everyone should have one. Private Internet Access is $40 per year, Nord $50 - Less than half the price of Netflix basic, less than a third of a Spotify sub. How much importance you place on your online privacy is up to you, but if the Investigatory powers bill is anything to go by I'd be signing up sooner rather than later.

I'm already using Nord VPN.
If you're paying for Netflix you want to read the kodi (bluemoon build) thread bud. ;)

Thanks mate.
That looks very scary.

It looks daunting but really it is a copy and paste job, that said you note your not a techy type so can see how it is seemingly a bit much.
If you have a techy member of the family bud they should be confident doing it, if you mess it up you can always just factory reset it.
Try to look at it as something that can't break if you mess with it, that sometimes helps people see tech tasks as less hassle.

It is a lovely day out though so don't pull your hair out over this just yet bud :-)

It's for my missus - She can ping stuff to the Chromecast from her phone then get bored and continue watching it in bed. I can't be bothered setting that up with Kodi and keeping on top of builds etc. Can't remember the last time I watched anything on Netflix!

Thank you @TCIB. I will be having a go..... What's the worst that can happen? ;)

Only one thing to do then mate. Get your Mrs to install kodi and any further updates to the build herself. Bingo. ;-)
Seriously though - even a woman can install kodi/new builds in minutes. Get her a firestick, which can screen mirror and get rid of your paid subscriptions. Save yourself some money and tell her she will have more money for shoes and handbags. ;)
