Excellent point and spot on.

I have my downers on Yaya but when he plays, he dictates the play and we boss possession and that's key tonight.

I suppose that is, in many ways, what it boils down to in terms of people's preference for selecting Yaya or not. My (perhaps somewhat pessimistic) view is that even if Yaya plays, we won't dominate possession - I fear that we'll still have too many technically-limited players out there to do so (Hart, Sagna, Otamendi, Mangala, Clichy, Fernando), even De Bruyne and Aguero, for all their obvious strengths, aren't the most adept at keeping the ball. And I can't really remember Yaya dictating play in many big games in Europe, to be honest? That's why I'd be tempted to leave him on the bench and use him as needed later on.

Not that I'd be in any way bothered to see him start, though - I don't think the question of whether he plays will, in and of itself, decide things.

And if he does play from the off, I obviously hope that he's fucking brilliant!

So will this be "we attack/you attack" or bus park and play on the break?
Not sure Otamendi and Mangala can be classed as a bus. Maybe a burnt out bus which no longer has any windows! We will give them all the space in the world and play an open game. As the man himself repeats every week... "we will continue in the same way".

All good points mate. When you look at us, especially in Europe we are our own worst enemy in that we give away such cheap possession too many times with what should be easy passes for players at this level, becoming seemingly impossible and its at its worst when we try to play out from the back, losing it in the middle and we are stretched.

Whoever plays tonight, we have to be technically sound.

Could have done with 3 away goals tbh.

2-2 was a decent result but I just worry that they'll eat up that advantage before HT. We need to be sensible because tonight our goals are worth less than theirs. If we score first it doesn't really change the tie all that much. Obviously it'd be a confidence boost and you'd hope that PSG heads will drop a bit but you'd imagine PSG will be going out there with the aim to score 2 anyway to take away the advantage
Or... we could have done with Fernando and Hart being more sensible. 2-1 would have been very nice.
