Can barely remember Doku doing anything in big games. I'd have given JG game time long before now, in prep for CL - how many on here now praising Phil were 5 minutes ago calling for his head, before he suddenly - unexpectedly, mid-game - found his mojo again?
Watch EH when Jack plays - he's much more lively, because he actually expects the ball to reach him.
I've said it before, but Erling's body language is poorer with Doku on the wing, you can almost see his shoulders slump just like Aguero's used to whenever the ball reached Sterling.
A mazy run (typically, against poor teams) counts for nothing if it doesn't result in a goal attempt

His form other than 3 months in the treble season has been abysmal. Just off the top of my head i remember Grealish being dragged for Doku against Madrid last season and Doku got us back in to that match and we should have won.

As for Sterling, contributed far more fort City than Grealish ever has. In fact Sterlings last act for us was to help us get back in to the Villa game whilst Grealish couldn't get on the pitch against his old club. Grealish gets about 4 assists a season on that wing so don't know why Haaland looks so excited when he's on the pitch.
 
Apparently, only 15 players took part in training this morning. Not more injuries, surely?

*edit* It seems the defenders must have been training separately. Only the two new guys were present, and neither of them are available.

Pep won’t be torn on it: he will be all out for this one. League he will be confident of top 4 and FA cup is just a bonus really. We usually always make the semi finals in that and it depends what else we have on and who we draw as to whether get progress further in that. This is the one he will want.
