PSG readying an offer for Aguero? The Times

I think it's safe to say that saying a player shouldn't be sold also comes under transfer discussion.

It would be a big climb down from khaldoon if we sell him now which is why I can't see it happening

Personally I would cash in if it guarantees mbappe , we would be set for the next ten years with the best two young strikers in world football , alongside two of the best young wingers

No; he wasn't. Joe was very inconsistent in his last 12-18 months with us. Remember when Pellegrini dropped him? That wasn't for being late for training. The mistake was who we brought in to replace him.

I remember him and I miss the safety feelings that I felt everytime I saw him in the net. I m sorry, we all have different opinions but for me: Hart, Zaba, Kompany, Yaya, Silva, Aguero and more recently de Bruyne, Sterling and Sane are/were the best in the world.

If Sanchez signs and PSG bid for Aguero then you obviously think it's a straightforward decision, we keep Aguero. You're saying that presumably because you think Aguero would play regularly. For me, I don't rate him as highly as Sanchez, jesus and Sane. I'd be tempted to sell him and bring in a top class defender if I could. It's about optimally managing the playing squad and players ability and form changes over the years.

The year after we won the title under pellegrini, Toure was untouchable and no one wanted to sell him, but in hindsight had someone come along with a decent bid, then it would have been best if we had accepted him. No player is bigger than the club.

I accept the argument that Aguero is too good at the moment to sell. That's one of interpretation and judgement. I don't accept the argument that because of what a player has done in the past, he should always remain integral to the team, no matter what.

You don't rate Aguero as highly as Sane?

Am I missing something? Sane has had a couple of good games and several very good halves.

I seem to remember in the big moments like the semi, Aguero was chasing like a mad man, running from the half way line and chipping the keeper while Sane was scared to death, hiding away from the ball.

Aguero is a world class striker and Sane is a teenager with potential.

I don't know if Sane will ever be as good as Aguero has been, but in terms of the next couple of seasons I would rather have Sane, Sanchez and Jesus based on what I have seen from Aguero based on what I have seen from Aguero over the last couple of seasons. As I have said a few times I think his acceleration is going.
