The television pictures demonstrated the disparity in the Farmers league. It will always be the giants versus the minnows regarding cash. I have played on bigger grounds than the Brest one.

So we passed on that Messi bloke to pursue an option that was probably a long shot to begin with. And now PSG have signed Messi on a free and we didn’t get Kane. What a joke! Horrible decision making from the board. Just wow.

In fairness, Brentford, Watford & Burnley all play at stadiums that only hold slightly more

hardly any FFP issue when Mbappe sale is done. huge revenue, his salary off the wage list, while total outlay for fees is only 60m euros for Hakimi basically.

for the amount of outcry "but how can they do it with FFP", Mbappes book value is a lot less than the fee Real is paying, so thats a huge profit on player trading for this season.
his outgoing salary probably covers Ramos, Wijnaldum maybe Hakimi too. (I highly doubt Wijnaldum was getting mega salary given he has agreed with Barca days before who was low balling Kun and Garcia for salary too)
Donnarumma and Messi thats two big salaries, but zero fee on transfer. but easily covered with Mbappes transfer profit on the book value.
Hakimi 60m euros also not and issue on a 6 year contract for it...

Ha! Where did they get that information from? Direct from PSG?

Marca are the Sun of Spain.

Their football target audience and readership are Real Madrid fans. Just like the Sun's football target audience and readership are United fans.
Reminds me of the nonsensical bare-faced lies Luckhurst wrote in the MEN about Ibrahimovic shirt sales covering the cost of his signing within a week. Pure fantasy and bullshit

Messi on with 25mins to go, so weird him not in the Barca kit.
It looks like opposing teams will do a man marking job as he's been shadowed by the same player since came on, already gave Messi a couple of slaps.

Only watched the 2nd half but PSG look surprisingly poor. Pretty even game against a weak Reims side.

Hakimi looks tidy at RB. Since Messi came on all PSG players just tried to pass to him, which has made them worse as he's marked at all times.
