Dear me. If you think that a third rate pub selling second rate beer at first rate prices and with an open sewer for a toilet is a good one, then I'd be interested to hear which pubs you think are bad ones!?

And just because those that frequent the Waldorf prefer NOT to listen to your pearls of wisdom doesn't make it it a crap pub BTH.

The best bit about that pub is the meeting place for Bluemooners who want to meet others. That is where we had our meet in November 2004. Scar and Kingy were there.

Since then we have had Sdavros, jimharri, bill (de niro), josh, stuey and many many more.

Don't knock that place.

Oh dear. While I am well aware that The Waldorf is convenient for Piccadilly Station and thus why it's always been a meeting place for BMers, this doesn't make my observations irrelevant or my opinions worthless (you've chosen not to respond to them I note, nor has the poster who claimed it was a 'good pub' in the first place) any more than it makes this a good pub. For the record, I didn't actually refer to it as a 'crap pub' either and I also note that you appear to be talking on behalf of your pals as well as yourself.

Not sure why you're reacted so personally; maybe you've got shares in the place? However, I do believe that I can knock whatever public house I like, especially ones like this that have a bit of a rep as gathering points for rags. You pays your money...

I'm away on business weds'thurs and have been booked into a place called the Kinder Lodge in Hayfield cos I need to be in New Mills for a job at 0830 thurs morn...Rang em today to see if they have sky and the woman siad yeah love no problems...there'll be loads of Reds in for the night !!!!...anyone know a Blue Pub in Hayfield??? Not an area I am familiar with.
