public transport straight from the print works to stadium?

Can I get any public transport straight from the print works, to the stadium?

Fancy going to watch blue Moon rising, and then going to the match Wednesday, but the film ends about 19.40.

Tram from Victoria > Piccadilly Gardens (or walk).
Bus from Piccadilly Gardens > Stadium.

I don't think you can do it directly?
